How to Increase Backpack or Inventory Size in My time at Sandrock

Like My Time at Portia, My Time at Sandrock takes place in a wholesome post-apocalyptic world 300 years after the Day of Calamity destroyed most modern technologies. You arrive in Sandrock after accepting the job of Sandrock’s newest builder. It is your job to return this rusty city to its former glory. Gather resources to build machines, befriend locals, and defend Sandrock from monsters. All while saving the town from economic ruin.

My time at Sandrock is quite a grind-centric game, if you venture out to craft every other necessary item in the game. You will have to spend hours collecting the materials that you would need to prepare tools and items. You are going to start with 29 slots available on your backpack, and the number might seem a lot, but you can fill it up very quickly, and it isn’t going to be enough to carry everything you would need. Increasing the backpack inventory space is one of the most overlooked aspects, but a vast backpack means more storage for your materials to bring back home. So this article will guide you on how to increase backpack space in My time at Sandrock.

How to increase Backpack Size in My time at Sandrock

increase backpack size

It is pretty easy to increase your backpack space. Here is how you can get more backpack slots

  1. Go to Inventory
  2. Click on the + symbol at the very last slot
  3. A small menu will appear asking you how many slots you require
  4. Select the value as per Gols you have currently and are done.

Now obviously, backpack space upgrades are not free. You will be required to spend the Gols (ingame Sandrock money) to buy the inventory slots. It will cost you around 10 Gols per inventory slot for the first 11.

The prices of the inventory slots increase as you start adding more. By filling the first 40 slots, you will need 110 Gols. Increasing the slots from 40 to 50 will cost you 20 Gols per inventory slot. Then, once you go up from 50 to 60 slots, the price of each inventory slot becomes 50 Gols, and things start getting expensive.

Any extra slot above 60 will cost you around 100 Gols for each slot. So you will have to spend a total of 810 Gols if you want to upgrade your backpack up to 60 slots.

Also, once you progress through the knowledge tree, try unlocking the Storage knowledge (that is after you have unlocked the Yard knowledge). Once you have these skills unlocked, you can get a 5% off when you purchase a new backpack slot that each skill holds, thus earning you a total of 10% discount. Remember that the inventory can show up to 40 items on a single page before moving to the next page. Flip through the pages if you want by clicking the blue arrow to view other things if you have more than 40 inventory slots.

So this was all about how to increase backpack inventory space in My time at Sandrock.
