How to get Winterbite Exotic Glaive in Destiny 2 Lightfall

One of the more unique exotics in Bungie’s latest Destiny 2 Lightfall is the Winterbite exotic. This exotic was launched during the launch of the Lightfall expansion. If you are someone who has the expansion and is working through the campaign or maybe hoping and trying to find this exotic from one of the random drops, then sadly, that won’t happen.

This exotic is kind of a specific exotic that would drop only from one particular location. So, you will need to work all the way to Lightfall’s post-campaign to locate it. Here’s all that you need to know about how you can get Winterbite exotic Glaive in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

How to get Winterbite Exotic Glaive in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Here is the way you are supposed to work to get this exotic. So, you need to work through the missions of Quinn Laghari that are regarding the Cloud Strider Records.

Quinn Laghari - Destiny 2 Lightfall

You will be unlocking these quests as and when you complete the Lightfall campaign. Then, you have access, in the hall of heroes, to the Cloud Strider Records. This will be on the northern side of the map. You will first have to necessarily complete all three major quests that Quinn has to offer to you, after which you will unlock the final exotic quest, Strider, which is the exotic one.

Strider - Exotic quest for Winterbite - Destiny 2

You can only access the strider quests when you complete the three quests. This quest will be a seven-step quest that will reward you with the Winterbite exotic. Yes, you will have to grind a little, but trust us, this grind would be worth it rather than hoping for it to drop when you complete a Crucible, Vanguard, or Gambit activity in the game.

When Bungie was about to release Lightfall, Winterbite was one of the most popular exotics that he teased about. It can send, around the battlefield, a stasis ball, that would freeze all enemies who are unlucky that they were underneath it during the fight. This proves to be extremely useful in a fight if you plan on or need to take out several enemies at once and keep them in one place.

That is all there is to know about how to get Winterbite Exotic Glaive in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

Important: At the time of my writing this article, which is on March 7, 2023, Bungie has disable Winterbite temporarily due to the absurd amount of damage it was dealing to bosses.
