Wailing Banshee – Description
Wailing Banshee is a Melee Weapon of the Legendary or Orange Rarity type in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. There are several variations of Wailing Banshee, and the prefix and suffix of this weapon will change depending on the card that you get. It is a Valora manufactured two-handed weapon that swings very slow. The specialty of this weapon includes melee attacks which create up to 3 projectiles that seek out enemies hidden behind the target dealing 50% Weapon damage. The Weapon damage indicates the melee weapon damage and not the gun damage.
The card says the melee attacks can create up to 3 projectiles which means you can get either one two or three. We took it on a Chaos level 20 run and to be very honest the damage is not that bad, and I was able to take out a decent amount of damage even without a melee build. It also has a decent range and can take out multiple enemies at once even if the swing speed is slow. The projectile that shoots out features the element of the weapon that we rolled with. Since the swing speed is really slow on this one, we don’t suggest using the Wailing Banshee when farming for bosses. Use it more for encounters.

How to get Wailing Banshee in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
To get or farm the legendary Wailing Banshee Melee weapon, you will first travel to the Weep Wild Dankness and head over to the Corrupted heart. This rare legendary item drops off from the boss known as the Banshee. The fast travel or the save station is quite near the boss’s location. So the time required to get to the boss is also less just in case you get eliminated. The Legendary weapon drops in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands are really rare, so you might be needing to go in for a couple of rounds to get it.
Speaking about Banshee, the boss is quite easy to take out and the fight starts at the very far end of the arena. Unless you are playing at Chaos Level 10 or higher. The boss can summon large skulls into the battle, but these skulls don’t damage you directly. They will just float around and will only cause damage to your hero if you bump your character into one of those skulls. Banshee will hurl energy waves toward you. Also, keep in mind that destroying these large skulls can also grant you death-saves, in case you need one.
Banshee’s all attacks majorly come at chest or leg level, so you need to either jump or crouch depending upon the boss’s attacks. Remember that you need to avoid the purple fog as you will take damage even if you touch it.
The fastest way to take down the Banshee is to keep shooting from outside and hide behind the trees to avoid Banshee’s attacks. This boss is typically not a very hard one to beat, but you should definitely maintain distance, shoot, and stay away from the purple fog and the blasts. Not all run guarantees a Wailing Banshee melee weapon, but it’s not so tough to get if you have collected all the Lucky dices in the area and increased your loot luck already.
