How to Get the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Quicksilver Storm catalyst – Lightfall has finally arrived in Destiny 2, and it is looking awesome so far. There are new exotics, new weapons, a brand-new raid, the Strand Subclass, and much more. So far the update looks great, and people seem to be thoroughly enjoying the content.

The Quicksilver Storm Exotic Catalyst is the new weapon Catalyst of the season that is all ready for you to acquire, not to mention, as you progress through the game, you can add it to your arsenal and improve your weapon Quicksilver Storm to grant it added power. Here is how to get the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst in Destiny 2:

How to Get the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst in Destiny 2 Lightfall

You can get the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst by doing the “Any Data Port in a Storm” Exotic quest. For that, you need to make sure that you have Quicksilver Storm first. If you had pre-ordered Lightfall, then you should have it, without a doubt.

To unlock the Catalyst you will have to rapidly defeat combatants in Neomuna with Auto Rifles, Grenades, and any Grenade Launchers. Rapidly defeating combatants with Grenade Launchers grats the most progress.

Now, the question is how to get the Exotic Quest for the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst.

How to Get the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst Exotic Quest

In order to obtain the Exotic Quest for the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst, you first need to complete a portion of the Lightfall quest. You have to play until you reach the “8 out of 21” quest step or the “Breakneck” mission of the Lightfall quest (You don’t need to start the Breakneck quest). This will come right after you complete “Downfall,” where your objective is to “Escape” as the “Darkness encroaches.” Once you finish the mission, you will directly spawn at Neomuna. Now, you will notice an exotic engram icon on the Mara Sov Holoprojector right near your Vault and Postmaster.

Interact with the Projector. You will get the Exotic Quest “Any Data Port In A Storm,” and the Reward is the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst.

I am pretty sure that even after unlocking the catalyst, the game will make you do a ton of stuff before you can place the catalyst on the weapon and enjoy the benefits. So get ready for more grind, even after unlocking the catalyst.
