How to get Rubber in My time at Sandrock

Rubber My Time at Sandrock – My Time at Sandrock is the second project of Pathea Games, which is considerable. The first one is My Time at Portia. Both the games look and feel quite the same. Of course, My Time at Sandrock is visually more upgraded. The graphics are on par with the games released in 2022. I would say that it looks better than many of the games released this year. I was a big fan of Fortnite Save The World, which reminds me of that.

Like My Time at Portia, My Time at Sandrock takes place in a wholesome post-apocalyptic world 300 years after the Day of Calamity destroyed most modern technologies. You arrive in Sandrock after accepting the job of Sandrock’s newest builder. It is your job to return this rusty city to its former glory. Gather resources to build machines, befriend locals, and defend Sandrock from monsters. All while saving the town from economic ruin.

With that being said, Crafting is one of the game’s key activities, and engaging with it is the crucial element for progressing the game. Also, note that the side missions seldom need you to craft specific items to complete them. One of the items that you will need to prepare is the Rubber. It is an essential item for several crafting stations present in the game. So this article will guide you on how to farm and get Rubber in My time at Sandrock.

Like Iron Ore, Rubber is also one of the core basic crafting materials you can find in the game. This means that Rubber is an item you will need to gather rather than a Rubber shell you have to craft.

So to get Rubber in My time at Sandrock, explore the map and do the following activities step by step,

  1. Try Crafting a recycler – You will need 2 Stone troughs, 2 Grinding Saws, and 3 Wood.
  2. Don’t forget to equip the Pickhammer – You will need 2 Wood and 4 Stone to Craft that.
  3. Travel to locations like Eufaula Salvage or the Euafula Desert in search of piles of junk. You can also visit the Beach alternatively.

  5. Once you have enough rubber scraps, bring them back to the recycler, and you will be able to get Rubber

The process might be a little time-consuming, but you will be guaranteed to get rubber once you complete the entire process. Try gathering as much rubber as possible because it is crucial for crafting the Rubber shells. These rubber shells can be used to construct other items, and you will also need these to complete the side missions. For example, if you want to craft an R-47 Mobile Suit that is a mandate for a specific quest, that will cost you four rubber shells. So the best idea is to farm junks and scraps as much as possible when you are out farming.

Here is the complete list of assembly stations and the gear that requires rubber to create more items:

  • Sandgear
  • Rescue Team Clothing
  • Desert Clothing
  • Explorer Clothing
  • Apprentice Cooking Station Valves
  • Magneto
  • Refiner
  • Yakmel Station
  • Sandrunning Kiosks

Apart from Rubber shells, there are Rubber rings and Rubber tubes available in the game, so make sure you gather enough getting rubber before getting into refined material crafting.
