How to get Platinum Camo in COD MW2
Nowadays, customization is in almost every modern video game, especially with games that feature character models and weapons.
Infinity Ward didn’t leave a single stone unturned regarding customization options and weapon skins, which, although quite tricky to unlock, is worth grinding for.
Camos are free elements in the game that you can unlock by leveling up your weapons and completing different missions.
These camos are unlocked in order, and you cannot open them randomly. The platinum camo is the second skin that gets unlocked whenever you complete the different mastery camo challenges.
The Platinum camo is unlocked for most weapons, including Automatic Rifles, Sub Machine Guns, LMGs, and Snipers. But remember that the platinum camo will have to be unlocked individually for each gun. The steps required to open the Platinum Camo remain the same for all the guns.
If you want to unlock the Platinum Camo, we assume you have already upgraded your weapons and opened all the different Camo Challenges. If you haven’t completed the base camo challenges, then these are the step that you should take.
- Head over to the Multiplayer Loadout
- Click on Custom Loadout and Choose your preferred weapon
- Click on the Customize option
- Once you open the customize window, you will see the camo challenges completion required for each skin.
Before unlocking the Platinum Camo, you must open the Gold Camo by completing different challenges.
For example, if you want to unlock the M4 Platinum camo, you first need to unlock all the other challenges and get the Gold Camo.
Also, remember that once you obtain the Gold Camo on a single Weapon in a class, you need to complete other Gold Camo challenges for the different weapons under the same category.
For example, if you get the Gold Camo for M4, you will need to upgrade the other weapons within the same Class.
Platinum Camo Challenges include getting a certain number of eliminations, Aiming down the Sight or ADS eliminations, Double eliminations, and even eliminations from behind, like Stealth Eliminations. Following and completing these challenges will help you get the Platinum Camo in Call of Duty MW2.
