How to get Masterwork Handbow in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Masterwork Handbow – Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is finally available across all the major gaming platforms, and looking at the number, I would say that the game is performing decent. Of course, the player base is nowhere close to what it was when Borderlands 3 launched. But, as long as a game looks and feels like a borderlands title, the fans don’t care what the name of the game is. They will play it, regardless.

Anyway, just like Borderlands games, Wonderlands also has Legendary Weapons and Gear. These Legendaries are, in no way, easy to find. And, if you do not have any idea about where to look for them, you mind end up wandering the huge open-world of Wonderlands, endlessly.

In this article, I am taking a look at the Masterwork Handbow in Worderlands. Let’s check out what it is, and where you can farm for it.

Masterwork Handbow – Description

Masterwork Handbow is a Pistol/Crossbow of the Legendary or Orange Rarity in Wonderlands. It is one of the best Legendary weapons you can farm in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, at the moment, if not “The Best”. This “BLACKPOWDER” Pistol is OP, and is a must-have in the inventory.

So what is so special about the Masterwork Handbow you ask? Well, the Masterwork Handbow resembles one of my most favorite weapons from Borderlands 3, the King’s Call or the Queen’s Class. This weapon has just one ammo in the magazine, but you get ammo back on Critical Hits. Which means, as long as you are hitting Critical Hits, you don’t have to reload.

Critical Hits with this Pistol ricochet 6 crossbolt at the nearest enemy. And if you manage to get the right roll, then these Crossbolts deal 3% increased damage for each Crossbolt stuck in the target.

Which means, if you have a “Crit-build” on your character, you will be shredding enemies with a blink of an eye. The best way to utilize the Masterwork Handbow, is to pair it Stabbomancer’s From The Shadows ability.

I got this weapon as a drop pretty early in the story, so the one I have is a low-level one. Here are the stats of a Level 25 Masterwork Handbow:

  • Manufacturer : BLACKPOWDER
  • Damage : 527
  • Accuracy : 69%
  • Handling : 81%
  • Reload Time : 0.9s
  • Fire Rate : 3.15/s
  • Magazine Size : 1
  • Red Text : Mercy like a gun.

How to Get Masterwork Handbow in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

You can get or farm the Masterwork Handbow from the Shrine Piece – Grindana at the Overworld. Just Fast Travel to Overworld, and make your way towards the Shrine.

The farm is not that convenient because, you cannot actually fast run this. After interacting with the Shrine, you will have to clear Encounters. On the Third encounter, you will notice an Obelisk in the middle of the Arena. Eliminate all the enemies near the Obelisk, and then you will have to eliminate Captain Swallow, who is the mini-boss of Shrine Piece – Grindana. So, basically you can get the Masterwork Handbow as a drop from the Captain Swallow. I’m assuming that the drop rate is not that bad, because I got the weapon, literally on my first run. That too, at Level 25, when the drop rates are usually bad.

Here is the exact location where you can Farm Masterwork Handbow:

After fast travelling to the Overworld, open your Map and zoom-out, and you will be able to spot this location quite easily. The Shrine Price – Grindana is located just between the Weepwild Dankness travel portal and Tangledrift travel portal.

Beating Captain Swallow is not that hard, to be honest. Eliminate the enemies near her first, and then focus on her at the end. I was using my Ruby’s Spite, and I managed to take her down, in like a minute.
