Funnelweb God Roll – Funnelweb is an SMG of Purple or Legendary rarity in Destiny 2. This weapon was added in Season 16 or The Witch Queen, in Destiny 2. It is a Lightweight Frame Energy Submachine Gun. Which means it goes to the Secondary Slot. It is a 900 RPM SMG, with a magazine size of 31. And the Funnelweb is probably one of the best weapons, that you can get in The Witch Queen.
So what is so special about the Funnelweb? First thing is, this is a Lightweight Frame SMG that goes to the Enerygy slot. Which means this weapon has awesome handling, and you will be able to move faster with this weapon equipped. On top of that, this goes in the secondary slot, which means you can easily pair this with the Witherhoard. But, the main thing, that makes the Funnelweb so good, is the fact, that this SMG is a carbon copy of the Recluse. In fact, this has better handling and stability than the Recluse. Also, this is a Void SMG, just like the Recluse.
The Funnelweb comes with a set perk called the Veist Stinger, which makes the weapon stronger. Here is what the Vest Stinger Trait does:
- Veist Stinger – Damaging an enemy with this weapon has a small chance to reload the magazine and increase movement speed while aiming down sights. Bows receive faster draw speed and swords receive faster charge rate while this perk is active.

Funnelweb God Roll – PVE
Now, the idea of a God Roll can be different for different people. If you ask me, then a Funnelweb PVE God Roll should have:
- Corkscrew Rifling – To increase the Range, Stability and Handing, even more
- Appended Mag – To increase the Magazine Size
- Subsistence – Allows you to shoot more and reload less
- Frenzy – After 12 seconds in combat, you get +15% damage, 50 Handling and 50 Reload speed
- Veist Stinger – Set Perk. No other option available
Funnelweb God Roll – PVP
Now, the idea of a God Roll can be different for different people. If you ask me, then a Funnelweb PVP God Roll should have:
- Arrowhead Brake – With the +30 Recoil, this weapon basically becomes a laser
- Accurized Rounds – To increase the Range
- Perpetual Motion – Since you will be moving and shooting a lot with the Funnelweb, this mod with give a weapon a nice Stability, Handling and Reload Speed boost
- Rangefinder – To increase the Range even more. Also, you get more Zoom
- Veist Stinger – Set Perk. No other option available
How to Get Funnelweb in Destiny 2 The Witch Queen
Funnelweb is a world drop, and the drop is complete RNG-based. Here are the best ways to farm for it:
- Vanguard Strikes
- Crucible
- Focusing Umbral Engrams from Master Rahool at the Tower
- Dares of Eternity [I got my Funnelweb after doing Dares of Eternity just once]
- Legendary Engrams that you get by increasing your Rank with Zavala, Shaxx, Banshee and The Drifter
- Any activity that gives out Legendary Engram. Doesn’t have to be a Powerful Engram
