Destiny 2 Lightfall was released on the 28th of February. Bungie’s latest expansion has brought into the game a whole new campaign, subclass, numerous new exotic weapons, armor and what not!
However, more importantly, this latest expansion has introduced to its players the new Strand subclass for hunters, warlocks, and titans. Along with it, have also come these subclass-specific weapons like the Final Warning Sidearm. Like all other exotic weapons, this weapon too, has its own unique character that would make it different from the rest of the pistols.
With this weapon by their side, players can deal massive amounts of damage to their enemies with the help of firing tracking bullets. Players will only be able to pick up this sidearm one way, due to Final Warning’s powerful nature. So, if you are someone who wants to add this Stand weapon to their arsenal, here is all that needs to be done.
How can you get Final Warning Exotic Sidearm?
Before you go off venturing towards Final Warning, you will be required to complete the main questline of Lightfall. This is an expansion of the main story with it being an eight-mission campaign.
After this is done, you will have to unlock all the aspects and fragments of the Strand subclass. To get the Exotic Quest for Final Warning, you will have to unlock every single Strand Aspect, Fragment, and Grenade on your Hunter, Warlock, or Titan.
There are 14 Strand Fragments in total per Class, and each Strand Fragment costs 200 Strand Meditations. So to unlock every single fragment, you will need 2800 Strand Meditations, which is an insane requirement. If you are just starting out and don’t have your Power Level too high, I would advise you to check this guide on farming Strand Meditations.
Once your Power Level is high level, and you start finding the enemies in Neomuna easy to beat, try running the Terminal Overload event inside Neomuna, constantly. Each Terminal Overload Chest grants upto 100 Strand Meditations, and if you have Strand subclass equipped, you will spawn a lot of extra Strand Meditations, as you will be eliminating a ton of enemies.
Once you unlock everything in the Strand Subclass, you will get access to an Exotic Quest, which contains the Final Warning.
How can you complete The Final Strand Exotic Quest?
The final quest of the Strand-specific quest is the Final Strand. Completing this quest would give you Final Warning as the reward.
As previously mentioned, you need to complete the main campaign, along with all the Stand quests, till that point in time and also farm a lot of Strand Meditations. Here are the Quest Steps:
Step 1: Nimbus Visited
This is the first thing you will have to do after starting the quest. Just Fast Travel to Nimbus and talk to him.
Step 2: Veil Containment searched
Your next objective will be to search the Veil Containment for Strand-Inoculated Gadgets in Neomuna. Just track the quest, and the waypoint will lead you to the exact location.
Step 3: Orders Read
Once you reach the location, your quest step will update to “Orders Read.” This is where you will have to beat a lot of cabal. Once you beat the Yellow bar, you will get the Shadow Legion Orders, and you will head on to step 4.
Step 4: Veil Spectrometer Retrieved
Now it is time to fight a Tormentor, and retrieve the Veil Spectrometer that it will drop. The Location of the Typhon Imperator will show up on the map, as soon as you reach Quest Step 4. Open your map, take your pointer to top-right of Ahimsa Park. There you will notice an exotic engram icon called “The Final Strand.” Waypoint the location, spawn at the Hall of Heroes, and may your way to the location.
Make sure you have a decent build before you take the fight with the Tormentor. As it has a lot of health and hits hard. It is best to clear the cabal next to it first, and then focus on the Tormentor. Eliminate it to get the Veil Spectrometer.
Step 5: Pouka Pond Visited
Nothing extra here. Just pay a visit to the Pouka Pond.
Step 6: Goal Time: 5:30
This is the last challenging step of this quest. Well, challenging for those who do not have a high enough power level. You will have to take part in Osiris’s Training Program, when you will have to beat the activity before the timer reaches 5 minutes and 30 seconds.
To find the Location of Osiris’s Training Program, open your Map, and take your pointer to the bottom side of Liming Harbor. That is where you will find the Headlong: Time Trial mission. Just click on it and launch the mission.
You will have to use Strand to do the mission, and it is best to equip the Grapple grenade. You will get a Strand Empowerment before starting the quest, and a chance to place a Rally Banner. So don’t worry about your arsenal.
Switch your way across the mission, eliminate the vex to open doors, eliminate the last vex boss, and you are done.
Step 7: Pouka Pond Visited
Finally, visit Pouka Pond once again and claim your Final Warning Exotic Sidearm.
When your quest is active, you will go to the Strider’s Gate and visit Nimbus. And then, you will search in the Veil Containment zone in Neomuna for the Strand-inoculated Gadgets. On your way, you will be defeating the members of the Shadow Legion and even encounter a Typhon Imperator from whom you will rescue the Veil Spectrometer.
When all of this is done, you will head to Pouka Pond and will be required to finish the Training Regiment of Osiris in under 5 mins and 30 secs. Once y9ou do this, you will be rewarded with the long awaited Final Warning.
Final Warning Perks
There are mainly two perks that can help you upgrade the sidearm to the fullest of its potential and master the weapon too. They are as follows:
- Pick Your Poison: The targets that you mark will be tracked and bullets will deal you extra damage too.
- All at Once: You will be able to fire in burst, multiple bullets. This comes with more stability onto marked enemies. When you hit a marked enemy, you will get a fully charged attack.
That is all there is to know about how to get Final Warning Exotic Sidearm in Destiny 2.
