Despite being a “Borderlands” game, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has brought a lot of new stuff to the table. Yes, the core mechanics of the game are the same as other Borderlands games. But there are some new aspects too. One of the most noteworthy changes, apart from the usual weapons, Wonderlands features a lot of Spell and Enchantments.
Anyway, it is a Borderlands game at the end of the day, no matter what. And just like Borderlands games, Wonderlands also has Legendary Weapons, Gear and Spells. These Legendaries are, in no way, easy to find. And, if you do not have any idea about where to look for them, you might end up wandering the huge open world of Wonderlands, aimlessly.
In this article, I am taking a look at the Envy in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Let’s check out what it is, and where you can farm for it.
Envy Legendary – Description
The Envy is a sniper rifle of the Legendary or Orange Rarity in Wonderlands. There are different variations of this Envy sniper rifle in the game and the prefix and suffix can change, depending upon the card that you get. It is a Blackpowder Weapon, and it comes in only with the Poison element. The Critical hits that you incur with this sniper rifle, ricochets 1 bullet to the nearby enemy as well.
Once you hit a Critical with this sniper rifle, the bullet will ricochet to the nearby enemy, dealing Black magic damage by creating three dark magic pools under. The effect only works on Critical hits, and it will not work with body shots. Also, remember that the Dark magic damage that you deal with will also heal you a bit. You can also try putting your hero points in the Dexterity which increases the critical chance of your weapon by 68% when maxed out. Try getting more Critical hits as the base damage of this weapon is not good. Apart from that, it is a really interesting sniper rifle that you can try farming for.
How to get Envy Legendary rifle in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
To get the Envy Legendary Sniper rifle you will first have to reach Dry’l’s Gallery which is located in the Drowned Abyss. Once you have reached the location, head over to the marked location on the map. Reaching the Obelisk will take up a bit of time because you would have to run a long way to get to the Obelisk. Although at the end of your journey there is going to be a Save Station, so you don’t have to worry about respawning back at Dry’l Gallery again. So once you activate the obelisk there will be a bunch of enemies that you will have to deal with and at the end of the mobbing, you will get the boss. The boss, this rifle drops off from is called the King Q’urub Hellsunder.
So you will be having three waves of monsters that you will need to kill before the boss appears. Taking King Q’urub Hellsunder down is not very tough. You can easily take him down if you continue shooting at him. He will be appearing after the Obelisk is destroyed. King Q’urub is a crab boss. You just have to predict and avoid his timed attacks. The main move of this boss is to hit the players that are at a range with a circular ground-based attack that travels across the ground. All you need to do is jump over it to avoid the attack. Always keep a distance from the enemy as the Crab king relies more on melee attacks. Slaying the King Q’urub Hellsunder boss will grant you the Envy Legendary Sniper Rifle.
Not every run guarantees an Envy Sniper Rifle, but it is fairly easy to get if you are on higher levels.
