Dragon Scaled Armor Ragnarok – The Dragon Scale Armor is considered one of the best armors you can craft for Kratos in God of War Ragnarok, but getting it can be tricky.
God of War Ragnarok is an action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by none other than Sony Interactive.
It is a third-person fighting game that involves a hack-and-slash mechanism paired with interesting Puzzle elements. This is the ninth installment in the God of War Series and the successor to the God of War, released in 2018.
This is a highly awaited title for the PlayStation Community and is easily one of the best games I have played this year.
As mentioned earlier, Dragon Scaled Armor is one of the best armor in the game. But it will require you to take down the dragons, Drekis and drakes so that you can scavenge their claws and teeth, which will help craft the said armor.
You will be able to prepare the Dragon Scaled Armor after completing the first Dragon Hunt, which is an optional objective while discovering areas in the Crater in Vanaheim. But how do you get it?
So this article will guide you on how to get the Dragon Scaled Armor in God of War Ragnarok.
How to get Dragon Scaled Armor in GOW Ragnarok
You won’t be able to get the Dragon Scaled Armor directly; you will have to craft it with the required resources.
So crafting the Dragon Scaled armor will require you to fetch the materials from the dragons, drekis and the drakes you have slayed earlier.
The fight with Dreki, who is the fourth boss of the campaign, is how I got my first Dragon Tooth.
Remember that there will be nine encounters or hunts within the Crater in Vanaheim. You must fully explore the area to find all these nine hunts. Remember that getting the Armor will also grant you a platinum trophy in God of War Ragnarok. Some of the Dragons you will encounter are:
- The Crimson Dread
- The Corpse Eater
- The Ash Tyrant
To craft the Dragon Scaled Armor, you will need to visit Sindri’s house and interact with Brok, the dwarf blacksmith, and you will need to give him the required resources and Hacksilvers so that you can get the Armor set.
You will require the Dragon Claws and the Dragon teeth, which you can acquire by fighting the creatures. Don’t worry, the resources are not rare, and you will be able to find plenty of them in the Realms.
Dragon Scaled Armor Requirements
To sum up, these are the requirements to craft each of the parts that make up the Dragon Scaled Armor.
- The Dragon scaled Breastplate will require 2x Dragon Tooth, 1 Dragon Claw, and a total of 14000 Hacksilver
- The Dragon Scaled Girdle will require 10x Dragon Tooth and, 10000 Hacksilver
- The Dragon Scaled Braces will require around 10x Dragon Tooth and, 10000 Hacksilver
As soon as you collect the necessary resources and the Hacksilvers, you can craft the full Dragon Scaled Armor Set by visiting Brok at Sindri’s house. We suggest you complete all nine different favours to quickly get the Claws and teeth. To get Hacksilvers, you must complete various quests, search for chests, sell unused gear and destroy random objects.
