The RPG spin-off to the Borderlands series, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, is finally available across all the major gaming platforms. Looking at the reviews and player numbers, I would say that the game is performing decently. Of course, the player base is nowhere close to what it was when Borderlands 3 launched. But, as long as a game looks and feels like a borderlands title, the fans don’t care what the name of the game is. They will play it, regardless.
Anyway, just like Borderlands games, Wonderlands also has Legendary Weapons and Gear. These Legendaries are, in no way, easy to find. And, if you do not have any idea about where to look for them, your mind ends up wandering the huge open world of Wonderlands, endlessly.
In this article, I am taking a look at the Crossbolt Generator Legendary Weapon in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Let’s check out what it is, and where you can farm for it.
Crossbolt Generator – Description
The Crossbolt Generator is an Assault Rifle of the Legendary or Orange Rarity type in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. There are several variations of these Crossbow Generators and the prefix and suffix of this weapon change depending upon the card that you get. It is a Blackpowder Weapon, and it comes in all the elements such as fire, cryo, poison etc.
The Crossbolt Generator is an Assault Rifle that shoots cross bolts, and you can get a bonus if you stick the enemies up. You can hit the enemy with your cross bolts and each bow will explode three times irrespective of whether you hit a critical or not. The cross bolts can ricochet and can hit the other enemies in the vicinity and explodes three times afterwards. It is not the best weapon in the game on higher levels but a good one for the lower levels.
There is also a Master Variant of this weapon and the damage is 4 times the normal one. The master variant has better damage and the fire rate can go down a little and the weapon fires a bit slow.

How to get the Crossbolt Generator in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
To get or farm the Crossbolt Generator, you have to go Tangledrift in Driftwood. You need to do a mission called the Walk the Stalk and the mission is accessible from the Overworld Map. Once you are here, you have to complete a smaller side mission called the Small Favor. At the end of the mission, you will be fighting a boss known as the Kastor, the normal-sized skeleton. I probably took him down in like 20 seconds with my Masterwork Handbow and Ruby’s Spite.
Now to get to Kastor, you first need to go to Tangledrift in Driftwood and from there go to the location marked on the map and access the Portal. You will be transferred to an open island called the Ratty Shack. You will a house at a distance and there will be a portal on the left side of the house.
Go through it, and you will be able to find Kastor. The Kastor has a lot of HP along with a lot of immune phases, so you might be needing some time to take him down. But if you manage to destroy the purple balls it will make the immune phase shorter but either way, it is going to be a long fight. Take him down to get the Crossbolt Generator Weapon.
