How to get Cotton in V Rising

Cotton V Rising – In Stunlock Studios’ brand-new survival title, V Rising, you are set in the shoes of the vampire who’s ready to reconstruct his/her kingdom. You start the game as a weak vampire, and with a lot of building, hunting, and conquering, you will finally climb your way up to the top level of the hierarchy.

V Rising came out just a few days ago, and even in its Early Access, the game is doing exceptionally well. It has already gotten 6000+ reviews on Steam, among which 95% are positive ones. And, at the time of my writing this article, it has already around 94,000 concurrent players, and the count is only increasing every minute. This means, we can safely say, that the game is already a hit.

The new V Rising game features many crafting materials that can be collected. Especially the cotton, which can be used to create the Cloth and Cotton Yarn. But to do that, you will have to put in some work. The crafting materials needed to make the cloth and cotton yarn can’t be harvested until you have defeated one of the bosses in the game. Also, the raw cotton cannot be found until you have put in a few hours into the game.

Once you are done building a castle for yourself and also get access to mid-tier weaponry, you can farm cotton. So this article will guide you on how to get cotton in V Rising.

How to get Cotton in V Rising

How to get Cotton in V Rising

You can get Cotton at the cotton farms spread all across Dunley Farmlands. And to get the Cotton, you will also be least equipped with Merciless copper tools. These cotton farms are pretty easy to spot because of their white and fluffy appearance. So if you come across a cotton farm, harvest it as much as you want. Also, don’t forget to check all the containers, as they sometimes contain cotton at the Cotton farms.

You will also have to chance to get the Cotton seeds while harvesting a cotton plant. These cotton seeds can be used to build your very own cotton farm at your home base. Although farming is a little complicated process, you might not have all the resources to unlock your cotton farm at your base when you initially get some cotton seeds.

How to make Cloth and Cotton Yarn in V Rising

Both the cloth and the cotton yarn necessarily need Cotton to be crafted. But you would also have to beat Beatrice the Tailor, one of the many bosses in V Rising, so that you can unlock the crafting recipes of Cloth and Cotton Yarn. Beatrice’s boss can be found at the Dawnbreak Village, and she is straightforward to take down. You will unlock these items once you slay Beatrice the Tailor.

  • Assortment of Curtains Structure
  • Loom Structure
  • Human Form Vampire Power
  • Cloth Recipe
  • Hunters’ Cloak Recipe
  • Cotton Yarn Recipe

Out of all rewards, the Loom Structure is the most important as this crafting station allows you to spin cotton into cotton yarns. A piece of cotton yarn costs a total of 20 Cotton. The loom facilitates Cloth crafting, which needs 9 Plant and 3 Leather to make for each piece. The leather can be obtained from the Tannery itself, which you should have unlocked at this point of the game. Plant fibres can be easily collected by chopping the grass with your sword.

So this was all about how to get or farm Cotton in V Rising.
