How to get Conditional Finality in Destiny 2 Lightfall

A brand new exotic shotgun has arrived in Density 2 with the Lightfall update, and it is called Conditional Finality. This is one of the rare and cool exotics.

Conditional Finality is an Aggressive Frame Dual Barrel Stasis shotgun that comes with two rounds in the magazine. It is an awesome addition to the game, and here is how to get it:

Conditional Finality

How can you get the Conditional Finality Exotic Shotgun?

We got to know that after you complete the Root of Nightmares World First Raid Race, you get rewarded with Conditional Finality. So does that mean you get the weapon just by doing the RoN raid? I wish if it was that easy.

If you want the Conditional Finality shotgun, then you will have to get it from the chest, that too from the final one, after you have beaten Nezarec. It is all a matter of RNG, so we recommend that you complete a few of the Root of Nightmares Triumphs so that you have a good drop probability. However, remember that you will get Conditional Finality in the chests of Root of Nightmare.

The fact that the Conditional Finality Exotic shotgun is unique is because it has an inbuilt trait that is called the ‘Split Decision’. What this trait does is that it will split the dual shots of the barrel into Solar and Stasis damage. If your shot manages to deal more Stasis damage, then your target will freeze. On the other hand, if you deal more Solar damage, then you will ignite your target. The fact that no other exotic has such capabilities is what makes this shotgun extremely unique and awesome.

A few things that you need to know before you try to get your hands on Conditional Finality Exotic shotgun, you need to know how to complete the following: Scissor encounter, Cataclysm encounter, and take care of the Zo’Aurc, Explicator of Planets boss inside the Planetarium arena. When you are done with all, you will also be required to defeat Nezarec. Post this. You might have a chance to get the Conditional Finality Exotic shotgun.

A few people got it on their first try, but that is just sheer luck. Just like the other raid exotics, Conditional Finality also has a drop rate of 4%. So your best bet is to focus on triumphs, instead of running the RoN midlessly. Here are the triumphs that I am looking forward to completing in order to increase the drop rate of Conditional Finality:

Easiest Conditional Finality Triumphs

Conditional Finality Triumphs

  • Psionic Purge: In Cataclysm, defeat all Psions within one second of each other.
  • Shields up: In Scission, do not defeat any attuned shielded combatants on a floor until both node chains are complete on that same floor.
  • Singular Orbit: In Macrocosm, a player cannot gain Planetary Insight twice in the same Planetary Shift.
  • Synchronicity: During the final battle with Nezarec, activate both sets of nodes within 5 seconds of each, for every activation, and complete the encounter.

That is all there is to know about how to get Conditional Finality in Destiny 2.
