How to get Brightbloom Seeds in Zelda TOTK
Players can find Brightbloom seeds at any cave in the Kingdom of Hyrule; one cave can be found in the southern region of the Great Sky Island, for example. Head to this cave and look at the ceiling of it, the floor or the walls for a shiny plant. If you spot one, walk over to them and press A on your controller; once done, it’ll be added to your inventory, and once that’s done, make sure you select it in your main (throwing) inventory.
Now, there are two ways in which you could use it.
Throwing it
- You can throw the Brightbloom seeds if you’ve equipped them in your throwing inventory; start by holding R, then press the up button on the D-pad to open the throwing Inventory. Select the Brightbloom Seed and chuck it onto the wall, which is the portion you desire to illuminate. After throwing it, the seed will hit the wall’s surface and illuminate the area briefly.
Attaching it to an arrow
- You can also attach these seeds to your arrow and launch them in your desired direction. Hold the ZR button to equip your bow and open the throwing inventory again by pressing the up button on your D-pad. Make sure you select the seed, and once you’ve done that, shoot the arrow to wherever you want to. This’ll ensure you can reach certain hard-to-reach spots with the added range. As mentioned, the cave is home to much essential loot; you’ll need these seeds to walk away with it.
