How to get Boniface’s Soul in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Boniface’s Soul – Just like other “Borderlands” games, Wonderlands also has Legendary Weapons, Gear and Spells. These Legendaries are, in no way, easy to find. And, if you do not have any idea about where to look for them, you might end up wandering the huge open world of Wonderlands, endlessly.

In this article, I am taking a look at Boniface’s Soul in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Let’s check out what it is, and where you can farm for it.

Boniface’s Soul – Description

Boniface’s Soul is a Pistol of the Legendary or Orange Rarity type in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. There are several variations of Boniface’s Soul, and the prefix and suffix of this weapon will change depending on the card that you get. It is a Feriore Pistol that comes in all the elements. The specialty of this weapon includes an explosion on impact as the thrown weapon homes in on the enemies.

As the card says, when you reload the weapon, the fate maker throws it, and it follows the nearby enemies like a homing missile until it hits them which causes an explosion. You will get your shields back once you deal damage to the enemies by throwing this Pistol every time you reload. The amount of shield that you will get back will depend on how much ammo you have currently. We took it to a Chaos 20 level to try it out. It seems that we don’t have to aim when throwing the pistol because the homing missiles automatically target the nearby enemies dealing them damage, and your shield recharges as you deal damage to the enemies. For the damage, it is pretty decent. Good enough for crowd control but not a great option for boss fights. The bullet damage feels like a purple Feriore pistol, and it is not terrible, but I prefer throwing the pistol more rather than shooting with it.

How to get Boniface’s Soul in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

To get Boniface’s Soul in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you will have to first head over to the Dank Encroachment in the Weepwild Dankness. Once you reach there, head over to the marked location as shown on the map. You will find a lot of Mushroom enemies on the way, but you can easily ignore them and get to the boss to farm the Boniface’s Soul Pistol. The fast travel station is just nearby the boss’s location, so you take much time to get back to the boss in case you die during the fight.  The boss you will have to farm for Boniface’s Soul is the Mushroom Healer. Although you might be needing a couple of rounds to get the pistol drop from him.

The Mushroom Healer is a Mushroom type of boss. You will find him when you are entering the Snot’s Pot. The best thing about this boss is that you don’t have to complete any side missions, quests or destroy obelisks to make the Mushroom Healer spawn. So the encounter with the boss is pretty straightforward. He will first spawn on an elevated platform. Start shooting at him when he comes down from that platform. The boss is very easy to beat. Just make sure you carry a good fire build with you to finish the Mushroom healer off in no time. Time your attacks perfectly and shoot him from a distance.

There will be other mushroom enemies like the Exploder Shroom, Shroomlets, and Firesploder Shrooms attacking you at the same time. Try taking those out as well but keep the smaller Shroomlets alive just in case you need a Death-Save. Although not every run guarantees Boniface’s Soul Pistol it is quite easy to get if you are on higher levels. And also don’t forget to increase the loot luck before fighting the Mushroom Healer by finding the lucky dice in the area to help you get closer to the chances of getting this legendary weapon.
