How to get Abeyant Leap in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 is a free-to-play FPS game developed by Bungie and the latest expansion to the game, Lightfall, is now finally out. The Lightfall expansion has introduced new areas to explore, new enemies to battle, and new gear to collect. Players now have access to new abilities, including the ability to wield the power of the darkness. Additionally, the expansion has brought new story missions, strikes, raids, and a new game mode. But coming back to the gear that has been introduced in the Lightfall expansion, one item stands out.

The Abeyant Leap is an exotic Armor piece that’ll enhance your titan’s Strand Subclass. In this article by Frondtech, we’ll guide you with how you could get your hands on the Abeyant Leap in Destiny 2. Here it is:

How to get Abeyant Leap in Destiny 2

First things first, the Abeyant Leap is only accessible to the ones who complete the Lightfall campaign. This particular exotic piece was released with the Lightfall expansion and is accessible to all of the players if they have the Lightfall expansion. Another essential to acquire this piece of armor is that you’ll have to complete the lightfall campaign on the become Legend difficulty, which is significantly more difficult than the normal mode. You can of course, choose to go with normal, but you won’t have access to the Abeyant Leap while you do the same.

Abeyant Leap Exotic Leg Armor - Destiny 2

You’ll have to go through the campaign through the Become Legend difficulty with your Titan character. If you go with any other class, Warlock or Hunter, for instance, they’ve got their own exotic items, and you probably won’t be able to get the Abeyant Leap with them.

Just in case your Titan Character happens to be an alternative, we recommend going through the tougher part of the campaign once your other characters have done it already, so you’ll know what to do and how to do it. Plus, to make things easier, you could always send some weapons to your Titan Character.

Finally, we’d also recommend that you do not pursue the campaign on Become Legend difficulty solo, it isn’t particularly impossible, but it could prove to be quite difficult and time-consuming. Play with some friends. Maybe they’ll assist you if things don’t go as planned. Once you reach the end of the campaign on the Become Legend difficulty, the Abeyant Leap will appear for you to acquire.

How to get Abeyant Leap after the Lightfall Campaign

Now, if you have skipped the Lightfall campaign on your Titan or picked the other exotic armor instead of Abeyant Leap, and wondering how you can get it afterward, don’t worry; there is a way.

All you have to do is do Legend or Master Lost Sectors solo, on the day when Exotic Leg Armors are in rotation. There are plenty of websites that help you track the rotation. Just Google “Legend Lost Sector Rotation.” In fact, I am writing this article on March 7, 2023, and Abeyant Leap is on rotation as one of the rewards inside the Aphelion’s Rest Lost Sector.

That’s everything we had on how you could get Abeyant Leap in Destiny 2.
