How to find Hogwarts Treasure map locations
As soon as you find Arthur Plummly, interact with him, and he will give you a treasure map you need to follow to find the secret Hogwarts Treasure. Here is a picture of the Map that you can access by going into your Inventory. He suggests we start looking for it near the Defence against the Dark Arts Classroom and continue further. Press the I button on your keyboard and go to Inventory and select Quest Items (second option on the left) and view Arthur’s Map.
Now as you close the Map, you will have to follow the white marker with a purple circle on the mini-map and follow it to find all the Treasure map landmarks.

As Arthur said, starting from the Dark Arts Classroom, getting in there, and exploring within the purple circle can help you find your first landmark. You can also cast the Revelio spell to reveal the nearby interactable items.

Continue to follow the white marker on the minimap to get to the second location. Yes, it would be best if you explored a bit, and you won’t be able to find this marker on the central Map, so have patience while looking for the landmarks, as they are pretty easy to find. Following the marker will lead you outside Hogwarts, where you will find your second landmark.

The third landmark is relatively easy to find. Just turn around and follow the marker and the purple circle on the minimap, and it will lead you to the third landmark. Since it is dark, use the Revelio Spell a few times to reveal any of the items you might be missing out on. As you climb the stairs, you will find a large painting, your third location.
Once you have found all the landmarks, you will find a large painting with a hook on top of it. Use your Accio spell to pull it down, and a secret doorway will open, and you will see a flight of steps going up towards a big chest. Get to that chest and open it up. You will get the Authentic Historians added to your collection.
Return to Arthur Plummy and tell him about your findings regarding the Treasure Map, and your Cache in the Castle Quest is finally complete.
