How to do Weapon Tuning in Modern Warfare 2

With Modern Warfare being released just a few days back, players all around the world are still figuring out all the new features that the game has to offer for them to explore.

This being said, Customization in the game is the feature that is mainly enjoyed by the players, and yes, Modern Warfare 2 also has given its players the customization option.

One of the many customizations that exist in the game is Weapon Tuning.

The following guide deals with the same and helps you to know how you can tune weapons in the game.

We all know that Modern Warfare 2 is an Action-shooter game and one of the main aspects of it is the weapons, and Call of Duty games without weapons make no sense.

A thing to do in the game that would make you feel unique from others would be to give your weapon a look different from others.

This (Weapon Skins) is not a new concept for COD games, so you might ask as to why talk about customizations here again.

To answer, Modern Warfare 2 has leveled up by providing its players to customize further any and every weapon that is available.

Yes, attachments are there that have already customized the weapons that you have, however in the game, you can now customize your weapons even further with the help of attachment customizations via the option of ‘Tune’.

The sad reality however is that it is not there during the starting period of the game. But instead, you get the ‘Tune’ option when you have leveled your weapon to its max level, and then the option of ‘Tune’ appears alongside all the Attachments.

A few things that tuning allows you to do to further customize your weapons by adjusting: Bullet Velocity, Recoil Stabilization, ADS speed, and many more.

To put it in a simple way: Like Attachments helps you add abilities and power to your weapon, the same is tuning for attachments.

Weapon Tuning similarly, helps the players customize the abilities of the attachments. Although, it is a given that if you tune one slider of an attachment and give it more strength, the other will become weak.

To give an example, if suppose an attachment of yours has Speed and Stability as two of its sliders, and you choose to Tune Speed and strengthen it, and it gives you great speed, it will be at the cost of reduced Stability in the weapon.

Note: Currently the tuning option is not available as there was a bug that was affecting the game and resulting in the game to not work. There is no information about its return to the game. But we are hopeful that the bugs will be fixed for the feature to come back.

That is all we had on how to do Weapon tuning in Modern Warfare 2.
