Now that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been officially released to the public on the 28th of October, 2022, players all around the world have jumped into the game.

The multiplayer mode in the game has several features to offer that are multiplayer exclusives, including Field Upgrades, Killstreaks and some more, in addition to the game offering the already extended range of maps, game modes, etc.

A prerequisite for you to efficiently perform a finishing move on your opponent would be that you should have sharp reflexes. As long as you have this, performing a finishing move should not be that difficult. You need to get behind your opponent and take the help of melee buttons to execute the finishing move. 

Here is a list of buttons that you are to use to perform a finishing move:  

  • You must press and hold – R3/Right Analog Stick if you are playing on consoles like PlayStation or the Xbox. 
  • However, if you are a PC player, simply press V or the Mouse Button 4 to perform a finishing move in MW 2. 

A few things to note: If you or your opponent eliminated, the finishing move gets canceled. In cases where a finishing move is not finished, and the eliminator is eliminated before such, then the victim of such can still be alive.

The Finishing moves have all sorts of variations and depend on whether they are prone, downed, or while standing.
