Stunlock Studios’ V Rising is the new talk of the town. People call it the “Valheim with Vampires”, and it feels pretty similar, to be honest. V Rising is an excellent Survival game that features Vampires. You start your journey as a weak vampire, and through lots of building, hunting, and conquering, you climb your way up to the top level of the hierarchy. You can choose to explore the massive open-world solo or with your friend in the co-op mode. Pillage villages, raid camps, force your way to the different territories. Do whatever you have to grow.
V Rising is one of those indie titles that shows that you do not need a huge budget to make a successful game. Even in its Early Access, the game is doing exceptionally well. It has already around 70k concurrent players, and the count is only increasing every minute.
The core feature of a multiplayer game is communication between teammates. The game bought a new feature in the game called Global chat. This feature allows players to chat with the other players on the same server. But sometimes, you might feel annoyed with the Global chat popups, so you can turn those off. So this article will guide you on how to disable Global Chat in V Rising.
How to disable Global Chat in V Rising
The new V Rising survival game features an inbuilt voice chat feature that lets you talk to any nearby players within that server. But this global chat is not a spoken communication. Instead, it’s a box in the top left corner of the screen where the conversations appear and let you chat and communicate with them. But many players reported this feature to be a distraction, and if you don’t seem to like this feature, you can turn this off by following these steps.
- Open the “Main Menu” of V Rising
- Click on the “Options”
- Inside “Options”, Select “General”
- Inside “General” you will find multiple other tabs like “Interface”, “HUD”, etc
- The global chat option is under the HUD tab
- There is a “Show Global Chat” setting and a little box beside it on the right side
- See if the box has a white dot inside, which indicates that the Global Chat is on. Click on the box to turn off the Global chat feature
Once you disable Global chat in V Rising, you won’t be able to see it anymore during the game. Also, if you feel like adjusting the chatterbox size, you can do it by following the above steps. If you want to turn the Global chat back on, repeat the whole process.
So this was all about how to disable Global Chat in V Rising.
