How to Climb in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were released on the 18th of November, 2022. The game is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, and by far, a lot of Pokemon players have jumped in on the sequels.

The game features the realm of Paldea. Additionally, the game is open world. The list of things you can do is essentially endless.

The map features several biomes, and discovering all of them will be quite a task. Spoiler alert, you won’t be able to explore every biome there is at the very beginning of the game. You’ll have to work it through.

For starters, there are a lot of mountains and hills on the Island of Paldea, and to explore them, you’ll need to know how to climb them.

This is where we kick in. Via this article, we at Frondtech will be guiding you with how you could climb those hills and mountains in the game Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, here it is:

To be able to climb those hills and mountains, you’ll have to unlock an ability, and for that to happen, you’ll have to defeat the highest-level Titan pokemon, which is quite a task.

You’ll have to battle and defeat Dondozo, the False Dragon Titan (Weakness: Electric / Grass type Pokemons).

To defeat them might be a little challenging, but we assure you, it’ll be worth it as it’ll get you some travel freedom around the map. Once you’ve defeated the titan pokemon, you will unlock the ability to Climb surfaces on your Miraidon and Koraidon (depending on your game’s version).

These pokemons have exceptional movement abilities, and with regards to the same, by pressing the “B” button, you’ll be able to easily climb any hill/mountain or any other steep surface on Paldea.

Additionally, if you’re looking to jump higher, that’s possible too. You’re required to defeat Orthworm, the Lurking Steel Titan(Weakness: Fire / Fighting type Pokemons). Once you’ve done the same, you’ll obtain the High Jump ability and can easily skip through walls.

That’s everything we had on how you can climb steep surfaces in Pokemon Scarlet/Violet.
