Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were finally released on the 18th of November, 2022. The games are the latest sequels to the Pokemon Series and have been released exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
The response to the game has been quite good so far, with a pretty good player base jumping into the Open-world experience the game has to offer. You could also free-roam with your Friends in the game, so that’s something new!
Breeding isn’t particularly new to the latest sequel of Pokémon. It has been featured in a bunch of other sequels too. However, there are some differences, as in, the way you can breed in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is a little different from the other games.
In this article by Frondtech we’ll be guiding you with how you can Breed your Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Here it goes:
How to Breed in Pokemon Scarlet Violet
First things first, to even start the process of breeding, you need to set up a picnic. You’ll have to search for a good spot and have two compatible pokemon in your party to begin the process.
Now, all you need to do is wait. Eventually, the basket that’s beside the table will have an egg inside it.
By the time this process is done, you could keep yourself occupied with either cleaning your Pokemon or making some sandwiches. We’ve composed an article earlier on the different types of Sandwiches there are in the game, be sure to check it out!
This isn’t an imposition though, you don’t need to do any of this in order for this process to take place. All you got to do is be patient. It might take some time, so, there are actually ways you can speed it up. That’s for another day though.
Now, it doesn’t really matter what type of pokemon you take to the picnic, just as long as they’re compatible with each other.
Additionally, if you wait long enough, you’ll get multiple eggs too. It’s just a waiting game for this to take place.
Picnics have more uses than just breeding too, so hosting one now and then could be quite beneficial.
