Sockets Diablo 4 – Here is all that you need to know about how you can add sockets to your gear, and even gems, in order to improve their stats. Keep reading to find out!
The ability to add sockets to your gear is back in Diablo 4. One thing that plays quite an important role in your build and dictates things like your defense, movement speed, and much else is your gear. This is where the role of gems comes in. You can use gems in the game to help improve your gear. So, here is a guide for you to know how you can add socket to your armor and how it’s going to work in Diablo 4.
How can you add Socket to your Armor in Diablo 4?
Firstly, you will need to be at least level 20 and also have gold and Scattered Prisms on you so that you can add sockets to your gear in the game, Diablo 4. The method is pretty simple. Here’s what you will have to do:
- Firstly, level up your character to level 20, and this can be done as you keep playing through the game, as you go on eliminating the world bosses, various enemies, etc.
- Then, head to a Jeweler. At Kyovashad, you can find a jeweler, “Kratia”.
- Then, a menu shall open on the left side. There, select the third tab, “Add Sockets”.
- Now you need to drag and drop a piece of gear from the right screen to the left screen. The gear that you select will be the one where you will get the new socket added.
- Lastly, spend the required amount of the Scattered Prisms and Gold required for it.
Doing the steps mentioned above will lead to the socket being added to your gear. Although obtaining gold is quite easy, the main difficulty is with getting Scattered Prisms, as you’ll have to beat the World Bosses for it.
What is the use of Sockets?
In Diablo 4, sockets are used to give your gear additional attributes. On their own, they don’t particularly do anything. However, they are going to add a slot to your gear, basically allowing you to add the gems to it. Each of the gems adds different attributes. So if you have a gear that has great but, sadly, limited stats, you can make use of these sockets, add gems to them and improve your stats. Moreover, some gear may even have sockets already on them.
That pretty much sums up all that there is to know about how to add sockets to armor in Diablo 4.
