For an RPG title, crafting usually plays a quite significant role, the same can be unlocked at quite an early stage in Forspoken, the main character Frey unlocks the crafting ability when she’s required to visit a location in a quest. However, unlike a bunch of other games, you won’t be able to craft stuff that you need wherever you want to. You’ll have to visit certain locations in order to do so.
All in all, it could prove to be a bit tricky when it comes to figuring out Crafting in Forspoken. Hence, In this article by Frondtech, we’ll be covering everything you need to know about Crafting in Forspoken. Here it is:
How to Craft in Forspoken
Let’s say you’ve completed the crafting quest wherein you’ll now be able to Craft stuff in the game. Now, the second obvious thing would be to start gathering stuff you require in order to make weapons or other essentials. To be able to do so, you’ll also have to locate a crafting table that’s close to you or set up camp, which can be done at a later stage in the game. The very first crafting table you’ll have access to would be in the city of Cipal, which also happens to be the first area you’ll be exploring in the game.
As we’ve mentioned earlier, to craft stuff you’ll be required to get the basics first. These items won’t be that difficult to find. All you need to do in order to get those, is to just roam through villages and grab collectibles. In case you’re looking for something in particular, you’ve always got the option to use the Cuff ability, which will highlight all the collectibles nearby.
If you know what item you’re looking to craft, in order to know what else you need to craft the same, head over to a workbench, then click on crafting and then scroll to find the particular item. Once you’ve done so, it’ll show you the items that are needed in order to be able to craft the same and how many of those items you’ve already got (in case).
You also get rewarded a lot of these items upon completing quests, another way to get them is to loot chests, and through these chores, you might also come across some old coins, which can be used to unlock some more crafting recipes in the game.
In order to unlock those recipes, though, you’ll have to head over to a bookstore and purchase books using those old coins, which will then unlock some more recipes for you.
