Horror’s Least Adept God Roll – Destiny 2

This guide will show you the best rolls or the God Roll for Horror’s Least and Horror’s Least Adept. Keep reading.

If you ask me, my favorite 540 Rounds-Per-Minute Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2 as of Season 19. I will tell you that it is Horror’s Least Adept, every time. Not only is the weapon extremely fun to use, but one of the best Pulse Rifles for PvP, in the game.  Let us now look at the perks to determine the best rolls for Horror’s Least. These are the finest Horror’s Least perk rolls for Destiny 2 PvE and PvP engagements, considering, of course, if you have the patience to farm the weapon.

Horror's Least Adept God Roll - Destiny 2

Horror’s Least Adept PvP God Roll

It is quite obvious that most people are going to farm for a PvP God Roll. The idea of a God Roll can be different for different people. If you ask me, then a Horror’s Least Adept God Roll for PvP should be:

  • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Trait #1: Perpetual Motion
  • Trait #2: Kill Clip
  • Origin Trait: Vanguard’s Vindication
  • Masterwork: Range
  • Mod: Adept Range

Reasoning

We will be focusing on increasing the range of Horror’s Least as much as possible, because this pulse rifle doesn’t have that good range. I decided to go with Hammer-Forged Rifling because it is the only Barrel option that provides a flat +10 Range without any drawbacks. You can also go with Small Bore, here.

Accurized Rounds is the obvious option of PvP. Gives a nice +10 Range, granting the weapon to be more reliable at Medium Range. You have to keep in mind, that no matter how much you try, you can never out-range a 450 RPM or 340 RPM Pulse Rifle with a 540 RPM.

Since we are not focusing on Stability that much, Perpetual Motion is going to take care of that, making the weapon really stable when you proc Perpetual Motion x2.

Kill Clip is the best damage perk you can get for your 540 RPM pulse rifle. The damage boost that you get from Kill Clip, combined with the fire rate of a 540 RPM pulse, is going to melt your opponents left and right.

Vanguard’s Vindication is a better Origin Trait in this case, IMO. The small bit of health that you get after an elimination can often be a lifesaver.

A Range Masterwork is extremely necessary for Horror’s Least, if you want a max range 540 RPM Pulse.

The same is the case with Adept Range. Extremely necessary to reach max range. Earlier, I used to run Full-auto Retrofit instead of Adept Range. But now that Bungie has made Full-auto universal. Adept Range is the best option here.

Horror’s Least Adept PvE God Roll

Horror’s Least is superb in PvE, as well. Especially, since Pulse Rifles get an anti-champion artifact mod almost every season. If you ask me, then a Horror’s Least Adept God Roll for PvE should be:

  • Barrel: Fluted Barrel
  • Magazine: Flared Magwell
  • Trait #1: Perpetual Motion
  • Trait #2: Kill Clip
  • Origin Trait: Stunning Recovery
  • Masterwork: Handling
  • Mod: Adept Big Ones Spec

Reasoning

The base Handling on Horror’s Least is not that great. So for PvE we will be focusing more on Handling, since we don’t need a lot of Range or Stability in PvE. Fluted Barrel is the Barrel of choice here, since it provides +15 Handling and +5 Stability.

Honestly, you can go with any Magazine perk on this weapon. It doesn’t really matter. I decided to go with Flared Magwell because I love the Reload Speed that I get from it.

Perpetual Motion is quite viable for PvE, as well. The boost in Handling, Stability and Reload Speed you get from it, is useful in PvE, as well.

Kill Clip, because who doesn’t love extra damage in PvE. Also, if you are running Anti-Barrier Pulse Rifle this season, Kill Clip will come extremely handy while destroying the shields of Anti-Barrier Champions. With Kill Clip proc’d, you will do extra damage to the shields of the Barrier Champions, which allows you to stun them quicker.

Stunning Recovery is one of the best Origin Traits that you could bring inside a Nightfall. Stunning a Champion refreshes X% of your Magazine, heals 60HP, and grants 40 Recovery for 3 seconds.

As I mentioned before, we will be focusing on Handling. Hence, the Handling Masterwork.

Finally, Adept Big Ones Spec allow you to do extra damage to mini bosses and bosses, and that includes Champions, as well.

How to get Horror’s Least in Destiny 2 Season 19

To get the Horror’s Least, you must do the Scarlet Keep Nightfall at Legend or Master Difficulty.

I am writing this article on January 24, 2023, and Scarlet Keep is on rotation this week. So if you are seeing this, go and do it immediately.

To get the Horror’s Least Adept, you will have to do the Scarlet Keep at Grandmaster Difficulty, which is probably the most challenging activity in Destiny 2. If you have this build, then it will a cakewalk.

I agree that it is not everyone’s cup of tea. Even if you manage to get the normal God Roll Horror’s Least. You are pretty much set. You don’t need to grind or the Adept version.
