Hogwarts Legacy Buying Guide – Which Edition to buy

Hogwarts Legacy Editions – Hogwarts Legacy is a highly anticipated game that marks the return of Wizards in Video Games. We also had Harry Potter games earlier, but unlike this one, where you will be stepping into the shoes of a wizard as you attend magical classes while trying out your skills against the Unforgivable Curses to balance out the good and evil.

This game was supposed to get released earlier, but after several postponed announcements, the game finally gets to see daylight. Since there are three different versions of this game, we will help you choose which Hogwarts Legacy Edition to buy so that you can clearly understand what each of them offers as a bonus while pre-ordering.

Which Hogwarts Legacy edition to buy

Hogwarts Legacy Editions

There are a total of three different Pre-orderable Editions that you can buy for Hogwarts Legacy. The three editions include:

  1. Standard Edition
  2. Deluxe Edition
  3. Collectors Edition

The Standard Edition only features the base game, costing you $70. If you buy the Deluxe Edition, it will cost you $80. The Hogwarts Collector’s Edition is the flagship edition, costing around $300.

Remember that some Stores, like Best Buy, will get you a $10 Gift Card if you pick up the Hogwarts Legacy game from their Store. Other than that, no special store-exclusive bonuses are available at the time of writing this article.

Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition Included Bonuses

The Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe edition is for gamers who want in-game rewards, costing only $10 more than the base game. You will also be able to have the game unlocked for you 72 hours before release, and this is exclusive to only the Deluxe Edition.

You will receive the following ingame items when you preorder the Deluxe Edition.

  1. Dark Arts Pack with Thestral Mount and Onyx Hippogriff Mount
  2. Dark Arts Cosmetic Set
  3. Dark Arts Battle Arena is located in the Forbidden Forest.
  4. Dark Arts Garrison Hat

If you have already pre-ordered the Standard Edition, you can buy the Dark Arts Pack separately. The Dark Arts Battle Arena is where you can fight and win to get rewarded with various cosmetic items. Remember that the Thestral and the Onyx Hippogriff can be pulled out into the open world anytime, and you can ride it around the ground.

Hogwarts Legacy Collectors Edition Included Bonuses

The Hogwarts Legacy Collectors Edition is only available Physically and will cost you around $300. The Full Deluxe Edition Content is included in this Edition, along with a physical open book with a wand on top of it. When you plug in the book to a nearby Power source, the want magically floats in its place. You will also get a steel bookcase with this edition of Hogwarts Legacy. The book and Wand combo is the prime reason for this being so expensive.

We suggest you get the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition because it is only $10 more, and you will get a lot of in-game items, which can be a great help during the game’s initial hours. The Collectors editions are for Harry Porter Enthusiasts, and you should have one if you like Hogwarts and magic.

So this was all about which Hogwarts legacy edition to buy.
