If you are someone who has already pre-ordered the digital version of God of War Ragnarok, then you should know that the preload will be starting on the 2nd of November, 2022. The game’s size would depend on your PlayStation system if you want to download the game for the region too.
The download for the game, God of War Ragnarok for the PS5 version should take around 84 GB whereas, for PlayStation 4 it would take up to a huge 107 GB. The difference between the both is due to PlayStation 5’s better options for compression.
The game also has additional support for local language to support the EU versions of the game, and hence the game for such would have a bigger size.
For downloading in PlayStation 5, in the EU, the game would require a space of 100 GB whereas, PlayStation would require a hefty 119 GB.
Keep in mind that this data that we’re providing is for the 1.01 version only. It is still unknown whether the game would be having a day one patch and if that is the case then how big it’ll be.
