COD Warzone 2.0 is finally available for PC players, and just like the previous Warzone title, the game is completely free.
The game is quite similar to the old title, except the graphics have been improved, as it has been developed on the latest IW 9.0 Game Engine.
The launch has been decent so far. Of course, the situation is nowhere as chaotic as it was during the previous Warzone title, when errors were popping up every second. But Warzone 2 does have its fair share of issues.
This brings me to the issues of the game. I played Warzone 2 on my PS5 version first, and the experience was awesome. It was the Steam version where I started encountering a few bugs. One of them causes Warzone 2 to look blurry or switch to very bad graphics.

Why is Warzone 2 suddenly looking Blurry
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 on PC has a weird issue where the game suddenly starts looking blurry, the textures start looking bad, and the graphics quality really takes a huge dip.
Let me tell you why this happens. This mainly happens when you minimize or Alt+Tab out of the game, or there is a pop-up in the background of your Windows PC.
When that happens, this game starts thinking of itself as a Background Process. And since, Windows, by default, is set not to allocate a ton of resources to background processes. Warzone 2, unable to borrow enough power, downgrades the quality of the graphics.
Fix Warzone 2 Looking Blurry
If Warzone 2 has suddenly started appearing blurry for you, don’t panic. The fix is quite easy. All you need to do is:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Graphics.
- Make sure that the Display Mode is set to “Fullscreen Exclusive”.
- Borderless or Windowed modes won’t work
- Now click on the Quality tab at the top.
- You will notice that your “Render Resolution” has gone down to 30 or 50.
- Set it back to 100 and apply the settings.
- The blurriness should be gone, and you can now enjoy the beautiful Al Mazrah map again.
