Fifa 21 – Fix Lag, Crashing, FPS Drops and Stuttering

Fifa 21 lag, crashing, FPS drops and stuttering fix – It looks like players are having a hard time playing Fifa 21 with all the performance issues that the game currently has. Here are some small and basic fixes that you can try.

Fifa 21 – Fix Lag, Crashing, FPS Drops and Stuttering

Fifa 21 – Hardware or System Requirements

  • Minimum:
      • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
      • OS: Windows 10 – 64-Bit
      • Processor: Intel Core i3-6100 @ 3.7GHz or AMD Athlon X4 880K @4GHz
      • Memory: 8 GB RAM
      • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
      • Storage: 50 GB available space
  • Recommended:
      • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
      • OS: Windows 10 – 64-Bit
      • Processor: Intel i5-3550 @ 3.40GHz or AMD FX 8150 @ 3.6GHz
      • Memory: 8 GB RAM
      • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon R9 270X
      • Network: Broadband Internet connection
      • Storage: 50 GB available space

Okay, so whoever recommended these requirements for smooth experience in Fifa 21, might not have tested the game properly. There is no way this game runs without issues on a i5-3550 or a FX 8100. People often mistakenly think that Fifa games don’t require high end hardware. Though it is true, but that doesn’t mean that you can play this game smoothly on a 8 year old processor. Here is what I would recommend:

  • Processor: Intel i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 ti or AMD Radeon R9 270X

Fifa 21 – Best Graphics Settings

So turning them off would immediately give you a boost. Here is how to do it:

Before you go for the re-installation, make sure you empty your “Temp” folder.

  • Go to the Start menu on your Desktop.
  • Press the Windows key+R at the same time.
  • Type in %TEMP% and press Enter.
  • Select All (Edit > Select All or Ctrl+A).
  • Click the Delete key.

Microsoft is known for releasing buggy OS updates every now and then. And the problem has only escalated on the Windows 10 OS. So check whether you have pending Windows updates or not and then update your OS. Here is how to do it:
