This guide will show you all the mission bugs in Far Cry 6, that have been tracked so far. Don’t worry, you all get methods to fix those bugs.

List of Bugged Missions in Far Cry 6 and how you can fix them

[Note: Most of the fixes written here have been either recommended by the developers, or the Far Cry 6 Community members.]

Far Cry 6 is an awesome game. But that doesn’t stop it from having a million bugs and errors. I have already covered most of the technical issues, that have surfaced so far. This article is specifically for bugs related to the in-game missions of Far Cry 6.

Juan of a Kind Mission bug

Bug: If you equip Soft-Target Rounds on the FAL AR, before you come by the Workbench tutorial during the “Juan of a Kind” mission, the mission is going to bug out.

How to fix: Restart Far Cry 6 and Ubisoft Connect

Sincerely Lorenzo: The Obsession Mission bug

Bug: During the “Sincerely Lorenzo: The Obsession” mission, whenever players are trying to attack Miguelina, she is becoming completely unresponsive, which is causing the entire mission to bug out

How to fix: Eliminating Miguelina will cause the mission to fail, and you will be able to restart it.

Break the Chains Mission bug

Bug: During the “Break the Chains” mission, eliminating the enemy troop using stealth, is triggering a bug that is stopping players from progressing further.

How to fix: The fix is easy. All you have to do is leave the mission objective area. The is would cause the mission to fail. Restart it again. But this time, make sure the enemies detect you.

Triada Blessings Mission bug

Bug: The “Triada Blessings” mission is getting bugged for players who have a wrong Animal Companion equipped, and completed any Animal Companion missions in a co-op session.

How to fix: Equipping the appropriate Animal Companion before starting “Triada Blessings”, will fix it. In fact, you can even choose to not equip any Animal Companion before starting the mission.

Boom or Bust Mission Bug

Bug: The “Boom or Bust” mission is getting bugged for players who have a wrong Animal Companion equipped, and completed any Animal Companion missions in a co-op session.

How to fix: Equipping the appropriate Animal Companion before starting “Boom or Bust”, will fix it. In fact, you can even choose to not equip any Animal Companion before starting the mission.

Fly Ball Mission bug

Bug: Before starting the “Fly Ball” mission, if you destroy the airplanes that are present in the area. No more planes will spawn further. As a result the mission will bug out, and you won’t be able to progress.

How to fix: You will have to reload your last autosave

All the Blood Mission bug

Bug: While doing the “All the blood” mission in Far Cry 6, if you loot the “Colonel’s lockbox” before eliminating the Colonel. You won’t be able to progress any further.

How to fix: Press Esc and select the “Withdraw from Operation” from the menu. Basically, you need to restart the mission.

Du or Die Mission bug

Bug: During the “Du or Die” mission, Raiza is getting stuck when she is about to leave on a horse.

How to fix: You will have to reload your last autosave

Sundown Mission bug

Bug: Players are not being able to track the “Sundown” mission on the map.

How to fix: Just go back to the camp, from where you start the mission. And that should start up the cutscene. You cannot fast travel to the location. You will have to drive or fly there.

Update – 12/05/2021

Insanity DLC Bug

Bug: When pressing “Save and quit” while viewing the final scoreboard during the Insanity DLC, players can disconnect from the co-op session and the host might encounter a black screen.

How to fix: Restart the game client completely.

Mission Bugs that are currently under investigation by the developers

  • Paradise Lost bug – Stuck in respawn loop
  • Libertad Rises bug – Unable to travel to Zamok Archipelago after fast travelling to Isla Santuario
  • Lost and Found bug – Unable to progress
  • Surgical Extraction bug – Unable to progress due to black screen
  • The Battle of Esperanza bug – Unable to progress after fast travelling away
  • National Treasure bug – Unable to progress
  • Harpoon bug – Unable to fire the turret cannon
