Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) Kakarot – Save game location – Where are my saves

Where are my saves located

The straightforward location of the DBZ Kakarot save game files is : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\Your Steam id\851850\remote

Note: Even if you install your Steam games to a different drive or folder. As long as your Steam app is installed in the C:\ drive, the location given above would always be the location of your saves.

If you are having trouble finding the location then follow the steps below.

  • Step 1
First you need to open you Steam folder. Not your Steam Library but where you have installed the Steam App. You can find the folder inside C:\Program Files(x86) or C:\Program Files
  • Step 2
Open the Steam folder and there look for a folder called userdata.
  • Step 3
Inside userdata open the folder that represents you steam id. If you have only one Steam account then you will see only one folder. If you have multiple then you will see multiple.
  • Step 4
To know which folder to open if you have multiple accounts, go to your Steam Inventory, click on the Trade Offers button and then select ‘Who can send me Trade Offers?’ at the right side bar.
  • Step 5
Scroll down and you will see your trade url. Just look at the number after ‘partner=’ in the url. That is your id.
  • Step 6
Go back to the userdata folder and open the folder that is showing your Steam id.
  • Step 7
Now open the folder 851850 inside it
  • Step 8
    Finally open the remote folder.

You will get all your savegame files there. It is recommended that you keep a backup of your save files, considering the fact that a lot of people are commenting that their saves are getting corrupted.
