Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) Kakarot – How to fix Fatal Error bug
Looks like a lot of users are getting an error message saying “Fatal Error” when they are trying to launch the game on PC. A lot of players have already posted about this on the official Steam discussions page of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. So if you are getting this error as well then don’t worry, you are not alone.
This bug or issue is more prominent with the AMD users. But the good news is this error can be fixed pretty easily and a lot users have actually managed to fix it.
How to fix the Fatal Error bug
There are two different fixes for this error:
Fix #1 – Verify cache
- Go to your Steam Library
- Right click on Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
- Select Properties
- Click on the Local Files tab
- Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files
Fix #2 – Update your drivers
If you look at this post you will see that a lot of AMD users have managed to fixed the bug just by updating their graphics drivers. AMD and Nvidia have already released drivers that are specifically optimized for DBZ Kakarot. So go ahead and update the drivers if you haven’t done it yet. Here are the links:
