Make sure you have enough RAM
If you are playing this game on max settings then try turning them down a bit. Since Destroy All Humans in a completely open world title, the game is quite resource hungry. That is why it is recommended that you play the game on 16 GB of RAM if you want to play it on Ultra.
If you do not have enough RAM then multiple explosions or too many people appearing on the screen at the same time could cause the game to crash.
Anti-Virus Software
Anti-Virus software hooks very deep into user systems and can affect disk and network operations which can cause crashes in games. Some games also use copy protection technology that can appear as malicious software to an AV scanner, resulting in potential false-positive alerts.
Try disabling your Anti-Virus software temporarily and then run DAH. It may also be necessary to add exceptions for Destroy All Humans! in your AV configuration.
