Destiny 2 – How to get Astral Horizon

Astral Horizon – Weapon description

Astral Horizon is a Shotgun of Purple or Legendary rarity in Destiny 2. This weapon was added in the Season of the Worthy in Destiny 2. It is a Kinetic Aggressive Frame shotgun and is probably one of the best weapons you can farm for PvP or Crucible at the moment.

So what is so special about the Astral Horizon? First thing is this is an Aggressive Shotgun that goes to the Kinetic slot. There has not been another shotgun like this before. Second thing is the perks that this Shotgun comes with. There has not been any shotgun that can roll two of the best shotgun perks together, Quickdraw and Opening Shot. You can pretty much say that the Astral Horizon gives the Minbender’s Ambition a run for its money.

Lets take a look at the base stats of Astral Horizon:

Weapon Stats

Impact 80
Range 32
Stability 34
Handling 35
Reload Speed 40
Rounds Per Minute (RPM) 55
Magazine 4

Hidden Stats

Aim Assistance 34
Inventory Size 40
Zoom 12
Recoil 62
Bounce Intensity 38
Bounce Direction Tends Right

Astral Horizon God Roll

Now the idea of a God Roll can be different for different people. If you ask me then a God Roll Astral Horizon should have:

  • Full Choke – For a tighter spread.
  • Accurized Rounds – For that +10 Range.
  • Quickdraw – When the opponent is rushing towards you and you need to quickly switch to your shotgun from your primary.
  • Opening Shot – To increase the range of the shotgun even further
  • Masterwork – Range

How to farm Astral Horizon

Astral Horizon has been unlocked as one of the Trials of Osiris weapons for the second week of Destiny 2’s Season of the Worthy. So all you have to do is get 3 wins in Trials of Osiris and you will successfully unlock the Astral Horizon.
