Destiny 2 Honeydew – Destiny 2 isn’t really new to bugs, there were a ton that were patched, and there’ll be more as updates roll out. The one we’ll be talking about is particularly an error code. However, it could also be a bug for some players as it has got quite easy fix to it. Let’s say on a fine evening, you hop on for a good play session of Destiny 2. Some time into the session, you get the BSOD in destiny 2, that is, the Honeydew Error Code. Is there anything you could do about it? In this article by Frondtech, we’ll be answering this question, so keep reading to learn more!
Destiny 2 Honeydew Error Code – Is there a fix?
We’ll keep it short and simple, the answer is that you might be able to do something about it if it happens in the form of a bug. However, in other cases, you might just have to log off for a while. This bug is known to be repetitive at times, and the only time you’ll be able to fix the same is if it’s an internet issue. If you face the Honeydew Error Code, which ends in “been manually overridden by Bungie”, the first thing you should do is restart your internet, as there’s a low chance that the error code is being displayed due to an internet issue. All that takes is to reboot your modem once.
On the other hand, however, Bungie’s developers sometimes take manual control of certain parts of the game. This could be due to multiple reasons, some of which are an upcoming update or a bug fix. If this bug does occur to you, there are high chances that it’ll occur to other guardians as well. If so happens, the second solution would be to simply wait it out. You could keep checking Destiny 2’s server status while you wait on a number of websites to get updated as the code is uplifted and the game is playable once again.
All of this means that you will only be able to bypass the error code if it’s an internet issue. If it isn’t, there isn’t really much you could do about it. Finally, Bungie also tweets in case of any bugs, so we suggest you head over to Bungie’s Twitter account and start following them to be updated with any issues/updates the game would be facing or up for in the near future. Looks for tweets like this:
