Is Destiny 2 crashing for you every time the new Garden Of Salvation raid exotic Divinity is near your vicinity? Don’t worry you are not alone.
Destiny 2 – Crash after using Divinity bug – Is there a fix
What is this bug tied to Divinity in Destiny 2?
Well, it looks like players are constantly crashing whenever they are trying to use the Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle or whenever some other player is using it around them. It is not clear what is causing the crash.
The problem about this bug is people are taking advantage of this inside competitive matches and using it to kick other people from the match. It is actually a gamble because using the Divinity can cause both the user and person on whom it is being used to crash. So when these people are using this bug they actually don’t know if they themselves will crash or if the person they shoot will.
If you think that switching the platform will fix the issue then you are wrong as this bug has hit all three platforms, PC, PS4 and Xbox. Fortunately, this bug doesn’t work in PvE and you can still use the Divinity without crashing in all the PvE activities.
Is there a fix to this bug?
As of now there is no official or permanent fix for this bug. People are not even sure why are they crashing or what feature of the weapon is causing the crash. The good news is Bungie is already aware of this bug and they have replied on Reddit saying that they are currently investigating the issue.
So, you can expect a fix pretty soon. Till then try to stay away from Crucible as this will only affect the experience of yours and if you are a new player then this might leave a bad taste on your mouth. Keep checking this Reddit thread to keep yourself updated.
That’s all folks!
