Ascendant Challenge Nov 28, 2023 โ Ascendant Challenge is an activity that you unlock when you reach Dreaming City. If you are new to Destiny 2, then let me tell you that you need to complete the entire Forsaken Campaign in order to unlock access to the Dreaming City.
Ascendant challenges are challenges tied to the Ascendant plane. Every week, you will find a single portal at random locations that act as the door to the Ascendant Plane. The level of the curse influences the location of the Ascendant Challenge every week. There are few set locations of the Ascendant Challenge, and the rotation happens between these locations only. They are:
- Bay of Drowned Wishes
- Chamber of Starlight
- Aphelionโs Rest
- Gardens of Esila
- Spine of Keres
- Harbingerโs Seclude

The Ascendant Challenge for this week is called Keep of Honed Edges.
Ascendant Challenge Location
The location of the Ascendant Challenge this week is Harbingerโs Seclude.
This time, I donโt have the image of the location on the map because the map, being limited, doesnโt show the exact location inside the game.
How to get to Harbingerโs Seclude
Start by spawning at Divalian Mists and make your way toward Rheasilvia. Upon reaching Rheasilvia you will notice a bridge at a distance. Cross the bridge and go left. You will see a path where you can drop. So take the drop, and keep moving straight until you reach a statue. Look behind that statue, and you will see the entrance to Harbingerโs Seclude.
After going through the entrance, take a right, then take a left, take another left, and finally go through the door on the right. You will now arrive at a huge room with another statue in the middle. Keep moving straight to exit the room, and you will notice a third statue. You cannot go beyond the location of that statue. The Ascendant portal will pop up just on top of that third statue.
Now, many of you might think about how you can reach the portal. Well, if you have already popped a Tincture, you will be able to see platforms on your right. As you keep moving closer to each platform, they will start coming out of invisibility. Use those platforms to reach the portal.

This is a Strong Curse week, so you can find Petra at The Strand.
How to do the Ascendant Challenge
- Spawn at the Dreaming City
- Visit Petra Venj
- Grab the Ascendant Challenge bounty
- Make sure that you have a Tincture of Queensfoil in your Inventory
- Open your Inventory and use a Tincture of Queensfoil
- Each Tincture lasts for 30 mins, so you need to be quick
- Now go to the location of the Ascendant Portal
- If you have already used the Tincture, then a dark-colored portal will open up
- Enter the portal, and you will find yourself standing in the Ascendant Plane
