Out of the many gigs in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC, one is the ‘Prototype in the Scraper’, mainly about getting a prototype implant(as the name suggests) and its schematics. For a player to complete this, they will need to get through a cave den, locate a passcode, and then, where many players get confused, choose between letting Hassan go or Pursuing a Prototype in the gig.
If you are also confused about the same, keep reading to find out!
Pursue Prototype or Let Hassan Go in Prototype in the Scraper?
Once you have freed Hasan and then watched him sit down, you can choose between pursuing the prototype you are tasked with or letting Hasan go and letting him walk away with it. So, what happens in both of these choices, and what should you choose?
Pursuing the Prototype
If you choose to pursue the prototype, then you continue, Mr Hands, and this is again followed by you making another choice. This is choosing between sending the Fixer Hasan’s coordinates to be returned to Zetatech or requesting Mr Hands to have Hasan released and the prototype extracted, too. These options eventually lead to similar endings, so you need not worry about that, given that the rewards are pretty much the same. However, if you let Hasan go free, you will hear back from him, initiating a side job that helps reward you with the Ambition Iconic Tech Pistol. So, I would personally recommend choosing to let Hassan go free here.
Let Hassan Go
If you let Hassan go, you must hand deliver the schematic to a particular drop point in the game. However, apart from this added task to hand deliver, the ending remains mostly identical for both these choices. Moreover, the rewards are similar, so if you are mainly concerned about that, rest assured, you can choose whatever your heart says. Additionally, if you have chosen the option to let Hasan go, then here also, you do get the option to get your hands on the Ambition Icon Tech Pistol later in the game.
That is all we had on Pursue Prototype or Let Hassan Go in Prototype in the Scraper.
