Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out across all the platforms. And so far the game is doing extremely well. There is no doubt that it is one of the best RPG titles of this decade. But that doesn’t take away the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 still has some errors and bugs that CD PROJEKT RED needs to fix. The Error Code CE-34878-0 is one of them.

Some PS4 users are getting the Error Code CE-34878-0 in Cyberpunk 2077. Here are the things you can do to fix it.

How to fix

The Error Code CE-34878-0 is a really common error on the PS4 and there are plenty of ways to fix it. Here are the fixes that the people from the community recommend:

Delete the saved game files from your system in Application Saved Data, then delete the game, and then rebuild the database. And how to do that you ask? Start by turning off your console completely. Unplug your power cord and leave it like that for like 2 minutes. This will clear the cache. Now plug the power cord back and hold the power button down. If everything goes according to the plan then you should hear a beep and then another beep after like ten seconds. Let go of the power button and your console should now boot in Safe Mode.

As prompted on the screen you need to press the PS button on your controller. For this, plug in your controller directly to the USB port. A list should appear on the screen. Select the option Rebuild Database and hit OK. Depending on how much you have on your system, it could take a while. But in regards to time, it’s still less time than reinstalling all of your games.

The face recognition feature on the PS4 is a little buggy. It can cause games to crash with the error CE-34878-0. This is how we disable it. Go to Settings on you Console Menu > Select Login Settings > Uncheck the box beside Enable Face Recognition > Restart your PS4.

If none of these work, then you have no other choice but to re-install the game. We are still testing the game. More fixes on the way!
