Where is the config file located

The straightforward location of all the Cyberpunk 2077 config file is : C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\

The location is the same for Steam users, Epic Games Launcher user and GOG users.

The configuration file is called UserSettings.json and it is a .json file. You can edit this file with Notepad or any other text editor application. If you didn’t know, this is the file that you actually have to edit in order to rebind your movement keys in Cyberpunk 2077.

How to find the AppData folder

If the AppData folder is hidden for you, here is how to make it visible:

  1. Open any folder on your PC. It can be a new folder or an existing folder.
  2. Click on the View option at the top of the folder window
  3. There you will find a setting called “Hidden items”
  4. Check the box beside it

Now you can go back to C:\Users\Your username. And there you will find the AppData folder.
