What is Firebase Z in COD Black Ops Cold War?
According to the recent announcement from Treyarch, Firebase Z is a brand new map for the Zombies mode in Black Ops Cold War. So far we have only had a single map in Zombies. Firebase Z is the upcoming addition.

Just when you thought the next chapter in the Dark Aether story was coming in Season Two… we’ve got one surprise for Zombies fans.
Today, we’re unveiling the title and launch date for the next Black Ops Cold War Zombies map: “Firebase Z” will arrive during Season One, free for all players.
With the destruction of the WWII-era “Projekt Endstation” site after investigating the otherworldly Dark Aether anomaly in Poland, Requiem now sets its focus on the latest Dark Aether outbreak site: Outpost 25, known by the code name “Firebase Z.”
We’ve got plenty more in store that we can’t wait to share in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for details.

Firebase Z Release Date
Treyarch has officially announced the release date of Firebase Z as well. The new Black Ops Cold War Zombies map will be releasing on February 4, 2021.
Treyarch also mentioned some other stuff on the post. Like the Zombies Free Access Week that is starting from January 15, the new Cranked mode, Onslaught Raid, and support for the new Wakizashi sword in Zombies.
