Call of Duty (COD) Warzone – Can you drop weapons to teammates

COD Warzone drop weapons to teammates – Wondering if you can drop your weapons to your squad mates or teammates? Don’t worry we got you.

Call of Duty (COD) Warzone – Can you drop weapons to teammates

Call of Duty Warzone came out just a while ago and the game has already garnered more than 15 million players. This has to be one of the fastest growing Battle Royale titles of all time. And it only makes sense since Call of Duty is such a popular franchise and COD Modern Warfare 2019 has been really successful lately. But the icing on the cake is the fact that the game is completely free.

Warzone has all the features that we expect from a BR game, but also has some extra. Infinity Ward has maintained the basic structure of a BR game and has added some brand new features to it. The inclusion of cash and the killstreak feature from COD MW 2019 has really added a fresh aspect to look forward to.

Now, Warzone has only two modes at the moment. Battle Royale and Plunder. And in both of these modes you have play in squads. There are no solo or duo modes. And we all know how squad modes in all the Battle Royale games go. You play together with other people and you share a lot of stuff with them. Traditional BR titles allow you to share all the items in your inventory as well as drop your weapons to your teammates. But the players of COD Warzone are unable to figure out how to drop weapons.

Can you drop your guns?

The straight answer to that would be, no you cannot. Unfortunately, Infinity Ward doesn’t want you to drop your weapons to your squad mates in COD Warzone. And that is why they have included the “Loadout drop” feature that you can purchase with Cash. They want people to take time to make their own loadouts that they think suits their playstyle the best. If there was an option to drop weapons then what everyone would have done is, they would have asked the teammate with the best loadout to purchase a Loadout Drop Marker, and all three would have used the same weapons.

There is a reason why you keep on unlocking different weapons and attachments as you keep on playing the game and farm xp. But it is easily understandable how this can be really frustrating at times. After reclaiming your life from the Gulag, you have to drop in the map and again struggle to find weapons. You cannot just ask your teammates to drop one of their weapons which will allow you to get straight back into action.

So, my advice would be spend some time at the Gunsmith and create a loadout that would more or less come in handy in every situation. Choose your perks wisely as well.
