Borderlands 3 – How to get the Queen’s Call and King’s Call Pistols

Pistols are quite overpowered in Borderlands 3 and especially the Legendary ones. And since we are talking about Legendary pistols here we have to talk about the Queen’s Call and King’s Call. Here is how to get them.

Borderlands 3 – How to get the Queen’s Call and King’s Call Pistols

What is the Queen’s Call or King’s Call?

Lets start by clearing one thing out. Both Queen’s Call and King’s Call are basically the same. They both are Legendary pistols by Jakobs and they both are overpowered in Borderlands 3. Critical hits with either one of these will return 3 bullets to your magazine and it will also ricochet 3 bullets to the nearest enemy.

If you have played enough Borderlands 3 then you will know that the Jakobs pistols are the best pistols you can get in the game right now due to their ability to complement Critical Damage builds perfectly. Now imagine pairing The Queen’s Call or the King’s call with a Fl4k running a critical damage build. You would melt bosses in no time. So lets take a look at the description of King’s Call (Level 34):

  • Manufacturer : Jakobs
  • Damage : 244 (Depends on the weapon level)
  • Accuracy : 70%
  • Handling : 54% (69% on Queen’s Call)
  • Reload Time : 2.4s
  • Fire Rate : 10.50/s
  • Magazine Size : 6
  • Red Text : Life is ours, we live it our way.

Where to find the Queen’s Call or King’s Call?

Well, I am not sure whether this is a world drop or not because the gun dropped for me and a lot of people from a single and specific source only. Looks like you can get the Queen’s Call and King’s Call from the final boss of the game, Tyreen The Destroyer. It is not a guaranteed drop so you might have to kill the boss a couple of times. Actually a lot of legendary weapons drop from Tyreen so this isn’t surprising. So go ahead and start farming.
