What is Eridian Fabricator in Borderlands 3?
The Eridian Fabricator has to be one of the most awesome additions in Borderlands 3. The Eridian Fabricator or Gungun is a weapon or a rocket launcher in Borderlands 3 that shoots other weapons. The name Gungun is pretty self-explanatory, a gun that shoots guns. But it doesn’t shoot guns for free. Instead, the Eridian Fabricator takes 10 Eridium to shoot 10 weapons.
Weapons that come out can be of any rarity. They can be good or they can be bad. You can take it as some small scale gambling as you are taking a risk here. 10 Eridium is actually quite a hefty requirement. Let’s take a look at the description of the Eridian Fabicator a.k.a. Gun Gun.

- Fires 10 guns per 10 Eridium.

Can I get Legendary loot from the Eridian Fabricator?
Yes, you can get Legendary drops, but the drops are completely based on RNG. If you are here after seeing a video of the gun shooting Legendary and Epic weapons only then scratch that out of your mind. It doesn’t work like that. Most of those videos are from the Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal event, where the gun was specially modified for the streamers.
How to find the Eridian Fabricator or Gungun?
The funny thing is a lot of you might be thinking that just because this gun does something which is very special, getting it might be very tough. And that is not at all true. The gun is not hidden in some special location or locked behind some special quest. Keep playing the main story and you will eventually obtain the Gungun.
When you reach the near end of the main campaign, you come across a NPC. He looks like a traveler and he is very short. He will tell you that if you pay him 1 Eridium then he will shoot out 1 gun for you. Give him 1 Eridium, and he will take out the Gun gun and shoot a gun out for you. You don’t get the Eridian Fabricator yet.
Talk to him, follow him and do everything he says, and eventually he will give you the Gungun. The entire process will take less than 10 minutes and considering the level that you would be at that point, it should be a piece of cake for you.
