Wondering where can you get the Burning Nasty Alchemist in Borderlands? Don’t worry as we have got an answer. Lets find out.
Borderlands 3 – How to get the Burning Nasty Alchemist assault rifle
Alchemist – Weapon Description
The Alchemist is a Legendary or Orange rarity assault rifle in Borderlands 3. It shoots explosive bullets that do little damage on impact and very high damage upon exploding. This is undoubtedly one of the best weapons you can find in that game.
Some are saying that this weapon is a reference to the popular anime and manga series, Fullmetal Alchemist, but that information is not confirmed. The DPS you can deal on bosses with this is really insane.
Lets take a look at the description of Alchemist (Level 50):
- Manufacturer : Torgue
- Damage : 241
- Accuracy : 75%
- Handling : 58%
- Reload Time : 2.5s
- Fire Rate : 6.30/s
- Magazine Size : 16
- Red Text : You can’t gain something without giving something in return.
Now you might be thinking that what is the meaning of the red text on this weapon. Well, you end up losing a very small amount of shield or health every time you shoot this weapon. But considering the damage output of this weapon, the trade-off is totally worth it.
Where to find the Burning Nasty Alchemist?
Update: The Alchemist now has a dedicated drop source. If you want to get the Alchemist then you need to go and farm Heckle and Hyde. The location of Heckle and Hyde is Jakobs Estate at Eden-6. They are also a Target of Opportunity so they should be pretty easy to locate after you eliminate them once. Here is the exact location:
Since the game launched just a few days, I haven’t got enough time to figure out whether this is a random world drop or it is a drop from a specific source. The Burning Nasty Alchemist dropped for me from the final boss of the main campaign, Tyreen the Destroyer. But some are claiming that they got the gun from the loot box in Mayhem. I will try beating Tyreen few more times and see whether the gun drops again or not. This article would be updated as soon as I get some new info on this. Till then, you can go and farm Tyreen the Destroyer and try to get one.

Shoaib, 30, is a simple guy who loves to play video games, and enjoys new cuisines sporadically. He has been gaming since he was 7 years old, and with an experience of 22 years, under his belt, there is not a single AAA game in this world, that he hasn’t played. Despite being a MBA Graduate he decided to follow his passion. And because of his love for gaming, Frondtech came into existence.
i jusst killed a badass enemy during the chill following mission and he just dropped a lvl 41 version of the burning nasty alchemist, possible random drop all around?
That is a huge information. Thanks for it.
I found one in the chest in firehawk room on sanctuary at end of game.
So it is a world drop.
Just because somethings a world drop doesn’t mean there’s not something with the weapon in its lootpool. The bee in bl2 could be a world drop too, but dropped often from tree ents in tinas dlc and hunter hellquist in arid nexus boneyard
