Redline – Weapon Description
Redline is a shotgun of the Legendary or Orange Rarity in Borderlands 3. This shotgun is extremely powerful and is a must have in the inventory. So what is so special about the Redline you ask? Well, it is a Torgue shotgun which means it has explosive ammo but on top of that this shotgun is full auto and has an extremely high fire rate. You can deal pretty high DPS with this thing.
Lets look at the description of the Redline. The one I have shown here is the Double-Penetrating Redline (Level 50):

- Reload Time : 2.8s
- Fire Rate : 4.46/s
- Magazine Size : 13

Redline Location – Where to find it
In order to obtain the Redline you have to farm an enemy called the Road Dog which is a clear reference to the character from Overwatch, known as Roadhog. You can find Road Dog at The Splinterlands on Pandora.
After you visit that location you will see him come out of a metal crate. But it is not a guaranteed spawn and the weapon is not a guaranteed drop. Road Dog’s spawn rate has significantly increased during the Rare Spawn Hunt event though which is the week 2 of Borderlands 3 10 years anniversary celebration.
The path to Road Dog’s location from the fast travel station is pretty straightforward. So, you shouldn’t have any difficulty farming him again and again. Your chances will significantly increase if you are on TVHM and Mayhem 2-3 difficulty.
