Borderlands 3 – How to get Nothingness

Nothingness – Weapon Description

Nothingness is a Shotgun of the Legendary or Orange rarity in Borderlands 3. The weapon is a part of the new DLC called Guns, Love, and Tentacles. And is one of the best Legendary weapons that this DLC has to offer.

The Nothingness is a really powerful shotgun and can save you during situations where probably no other weapon would work. I can already see this weapon being one of the main weapons in my personal loadout.

So what is so special about the Nothingness? Well, it is a Maliwan shotgun which means it features double elements. It does decent damage as well but that is not the main feature of this shotgun. The reason why Nothingness is no powerful is its ability to deal insanely high amount of elemental damage per second. You can just shoot an enemy a few times with this and then move on to the next one without even worrying about the previous one.

Lets take a look at the description of the Nothingness. The one shown here is the Hazardous Nothingness (Level 57, Shock and Incendiary) :

Damage 5559
Elemental Damage Shock : 14858 DMG/S

Incendiary : 14858 DMG/S

Accuracy 43%
Handling 55%
Reload Time 2.1s
Fire Rate 1.26/s
Magazine Size 6
Red Text A hole would be something.

Nothingness – Location

Let me start by saying that this weapon is exclusive to the Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC. So, you need to either have the Season Pass or purchase the DLC separately in order for you to access the location where this weapon drops.

The Nothingness has a dedicated drop source. In order to get the Nothingness you need to go and farm a mini boss called Gmork. You can find Gmork at The Cankerwood at Xylourgos. He is also a part of Hammerlock’s Legendary Hunt. Here is the exact location of Gmork:

I was farming the boss at Mayhem 4 difficulty and I managed to get the weapon only once after doing 10 runs. I haven’t tried farming Gmork on lower difficulties so I don’t have any idea about the drop chances. But it is recommended that you farm him at Mayhem 4 in order to get the best results.
