Want to obtain the Lucian’s Call but don’t know where to farm for it? Don’t worry we got you.

Borderlands 3 – How to get Lucian’s Call Assault Rifle

What is Lucian’s Call?

Lucian’s Call is a Legendary or Orange Assault Rifle in Borderlands. It is one of the best weapons you can get in the game and you can heavily rely on this weapon when fighting bosses or playing Circle of Slaughter at Mayhem 2 or Mayhem 3 difficulty. So what is so special about the Lucian’s Call? The first thing is the fire rate on this and the second thing the perk where on critical hits you get 2 bullets back to the magazine, and 2 bullets ricochet at the nearest enemy. So you pretty much have infinite ammo on this as long as you can hit critical spots of your enemies. If you are a Fl4K user you are running the critical build then this is the weapon you need.

Lets take a look at the description of the Lucian’s Call. I got the one that deals incendiary damage but you can get this with other elements too.

  • Manufacturer : Vladof
  • Damage : 368 (Depends of the level)
  • Accuracy : 72%
  • Handling : 58%
  • Reload Time : 3.8s
  • Fire Rate : 10.67/s
  • Magazine Size : 60
  • Red Text : What happened?

Where to find the Lucian’s Call?

Update : You can now get Lucian’s Call from Blue Fire. Blue Fire is one of the two final bosses of Slaughterstar 3000. There are two bosses at the end of the Slaughterstar 3000, Blue Fire and Red Rain. Blue Fire drops Lucian’s Call and Red Rain drops Rowan’s Call.

Lucian’s Call is a world drop which means you can get it from anywhere. But there are certain enemies or bosses in the game that have an increased drop rate. Here are the best locations to farm the Lucian’s Call:

Dinklebot

You can farm Dinklebot at Skywell- 27 (Promethea) to get Loot-O-Grams from it. Try to obtain a bunch of Loot-O-Grams and then go and give them to Earl (Eridium Vendor) at the Sanctuary. Keep one thing in mind, Dinklebot won’t spawn every time so if you don’t find it at the location then just quit to main menu and start again. Loot-O-Grams will drop every time you kill it though. Here is a video showing the location of Dinklebot:

Graveward

The Graveward is one of the best bosses that you can farm in the game for legendary loot. If  you are at TVHM and Mayhem 2-3 difficulty then you will get a Legendary drop every time. And if you are lucky enough then he might even drop 3-4 Legendaries at a time. This boss has a better drop rate than Tyreen The Destroyer.

Chupacabratch

Another way of getting the Lucian’s Call is by farming the mini boss at Athena, Chupacabratch. If you are already at TVHM then you should have no problem in getting the drop in a couple of tries.

Hoarder Tink

You can also farm the Hoarder Tink at Jakobs Estate in Eden-6. Now a lot of you might say that Gearbox has already patched the Hoarder Tink and it does not spawn every time. Well, there is actually a way to make the Hoarder Tink spawn every time. All you need to do is start Borderlands 3 via the Epic Launcher without being connected to internet. If you didn’t know, you need internet connection to start Epic Games Launcher but you do not need internet to play Borderlands 3. Without internet the game will start at Local mode and this is what you want. On offline mode the Hoarder Tink spawns every time. Kill the tink, quit to main menu, start again, repeat.

Once the farm is done you can turn on your internet connection and refresh your Epic Launcher by visiting the Store page so that you do not face any problem with cloud saving.

[Note: We would highly recommend to create a backup of your save files. You can find your Bl3 saves at this location : My Documents/My Games/Borderlands 3/Saved/SaveGames. Just copy the entire folder inside SavedGames and paste it somewhere else.]
