Borderlands 3 – How to get Flakker

Flakker – Weapon Description

The Flakker is a shotgun of the Legendary or Orange rarity in Borderlands 3. It is one of the best weapons you can have in the game right now and I will give you the reasons for that. The weapon comes with three elements. Explosive, Incendiary and Radiation. I prefer the Explosive one but the choice is completely personal.

So what is so special about the Flakker? Well, this shotgun doesn’t behave like a normal shotgun. When you shoot the Flakker you won’t see any bullets come out. Instead, you will see a couple of explosions take place at a close-medium range. The explosions deal very high amount of damage and it is extremely useful during FFYL. But remember, if you get caught between the explosions you might end up inflicting self damage and go down. You need to time your shots right in order to hit enemies with this. Don’t worry, you will get used to it once you start using the weapon.

Let us take a look at the description of the Flakker (Level 50). I have actually managed to get a whole lot Flakkers. The one shown here is the normal one.

  • Manufacturer : Torgue
  • Damage : 1498×3
  • Accuracy : 52%
  • Handling : 58%
  • Reload Time : 2.1s
  • Fire Rate : 0.58/s
  • Magazine Size : 17
  • Red Text : Flak the world.

Where to find the Flakker?

Let me start by saying that the Flakker is a World Drop which means you can get it from anywhere. But, if you ask me there are two locations from where I got the weapon the most number of times. They are:

Circle of Slaughter

This weapon drops a lot in Circle Of Slaughter. And when I say ‘a lot’, I mean way too many times. Especially when you are in TVHM with Mayhem 2 or 3 difficulty. The Explosive one drops the most, then the Incendiary one and then the Radiation one.

Graveward

When I was farming Graveward for the MIRV Hex, I ended up getting more than 10 Flakkers during my entire farming session. So Graveward is also a very good option if you are not in Circle of Slaughter. Here is a video showing the Burning Flakker drop from Graveward for me:

You really shouldn’t have much problem getting this weapon as this one is one of the common Legendaries that come as World Drops. I always try to show videos of me getting these rare drops because I don’t like suggesting locations for farming without testing them out myself. If this guide has helped you then let me know in comments. Happy farming!

That’s all folks!
